Hi Did you have any vibrating or pulsing issue when stopping/driving at 55mph? I have read number of folks on lexus forum mentioning about EBC slotted/vented rotors having such an issue?

Hi Ni Ja, With my OEM rotors which were NOT slotted and drilled yes, coming to a stop when getting off the freeway i experienced heavy vibration and pulsing signaling that my OEM rotors were toast. I decided to go to slotted and drilled front and back rotors and Bosch pads as they dissipate heat better then OEM and seeing how out SUV is very heavy it really should have come standard from factory. So far, I'm a few thousand miles in and they work PERFECTLY, a marked improvement from OEM and they feel really great 👍 ill list the part numbers I got from AMAZON. I like that part where he uses torque wrench to torque nuts to manufacturer specs

From the video and your comments the mechanic did not use a torque wrench on his final tightening. I did see him use his impact wrench on the front. The first sign of a bad job is not properly torquing the bolts. I can almost say with certainty he did not torque your lug nuts after he ran them on with the impact. One of the main reasons for warped rotors.

Yep pulsating sure do pads and rotors if its over 7y old they need it. I went back and forth but that is what fixed it. Thanks guys made me a pro when I did mine.

@@ONBLASTWITHMG got it. Had to put a 12mm bolt in the front to pop it out and after there's is hole (bottom side) to move wheel down to release the emergency brake.

Boot back onto the rotor? Did you mean caliper onto the Rotary?

They are Bosch. Looks like your mechanic didn’t take the shims off of the old beds and put them on the new pads before you install them.

Well, I would say that by watching this it would make it easier for you to DIY should you choose to. At the very least, you'd have a leg up.

Yeah, my bad. You're correct the front has 4 and the back 2. My forte is not talking on camera, hence I'm not winning any oscars!. Still get nervous when filming.

These brakes don’t and a whole lot of power to it. This vehicle needs a bigger, much bigger brakes to make a difference.

@@ONBLASTWITHMG What are you talking about with fire risk? Taking the rear rotor off is a fire risk? How do you relieve the tension of the spring that prevents the rotor from coming off?
