No big 10 in top 4. Last year BT 3-7 record with OSU getting rinsed by Clemson. BT is due I suppose.

Robert Wood no the committee got the right teams in the playoff. Ohio state has no one to blame but themselves for not getting in. you can't get curb stomped by a mediocre Iowa team and hope to get in. and come on... you can't think Wisconsin would have beaten and of the four in the playoff.

just what I have saw of the highlights. it's easy to see why Wisconsin won. simply put... they could run the ball. Miami could not run at all after the first quarter. and it's real hard to score if half of your offense is not there. Wisconsin and Miami are very similar teams. for them to be effective. they both have to be able to run the ball.

Yep i have no affiliation with wisconsin or miami but those 2 calls were horrible AND with review. Wisconsin probably got the worst of it because on the phantom td wisconsin would have scored on the next play or two anyway. On the phantom fumble Taylor’s knee and elbow were clearly down. These refs are atrocious

As a Wisconsin fan, I knew that wasn't a TD. But Taylor was very clearly down before the ball came out. Bad officiating, typical SEC.

soulierpaul Miami is part of the ACC...so are those refs from the SEC? This game in reality was more like a 1 point or 3 point game if it wasn't for so many bad calls and missed calls on both sides, for me this is one of the worst referee calling games

1-3 point game? Not sure how you figure that but okay. Refs were from SEC. They missed obvious stuff like 3 offsides on Miami they didn't call, one even resulting in a holding on Wisconsin (because the guy was offsides and the only way to stop him from hitting the QB was to hold) which stalled a promising drive for a long FG. Refs were terrible the whole game, but overall, I don't see the game turning out terribly different. Wisc defense was really clamping down on Miami for most the game and Miami's defense wasn't able to wrangle opposing WR's well enough as their "speed" would have indicated they would.

Samuel Gotsman I believe there record was result of a cupcake schedule last year. The O definitely is not too sharp. With that being said I do think they’ll be better this year, yet they’ll lose more games cause of a better schedule. Florida State will be much better this year no doubt in my mind imo.

GKG35 I would disagree as I believe it is very possible for them to go undefeated again this year due to the lack of a rigorous schedule. But once they see Clemson or a real contender you’ll see that they really not an elite team, but just a team that is in a very weak division and doesn’t have any tough games.

drby0788 Miami was 4-0 in one score games this season. Refs missed a huge holding call at the end of the first half that almost got richt kicked out. They scored from that should’ve been 10 yards back. Also kicker missed chip shot in late 4th to give us a chance. As well as our dbs getting beat on 50/50 balls. Richt did have one bad drive in the red zone were he tried a play action on 3rd down when defense obviously knew we were passing.

Sigh. As always, Rosier keeps a team in the game because he lacks killer instinct along with this team. What could of been a rout turned into a loss. Manny Diaz's defense getting craved up by a average QB, AGAIN. This is the 4th game in a row a QB went at least 10/10 passing at some point in the game. (UVa, Pitt, Clem, Wis) We seem to never have either the players or the DC to make average QBs look average like average QBs. Sick and tired of making these average to below average QB look like Tom Brady then make excuses for them like: "He played the game of his life", "He'll make it to the NFL", and then the very next week VT or GT makes the same QB look inept at playing QB at the Power 5 level.

Wisconsin came into your HOME STADIUM, and punched the Hurricanes in the mouth. Wisconsin was the better team, make no mistake about it. You would’ve gotten your rout had this been a true neutral site game, just wouldn’t have gotten a Hurricane win. L.

Refs let W DB almost unpants MIA receiver in EZ and turn a TD into an int with TD going other way. That was a minimum 14 pt turn. Miami DBs had bad night with back to ball too much. Refs also allowed a lot of holding by WI OL. Very skillfully done by WI as they were just enough to slow down rush. Would love to see a fair audit of the game from that standpoint. Worst thing for MIA: RZ percent and third down conv-- dismal.

Hugh Mcgarity Well that was not a fumble that they called a fumble by Taylor my argument is I can carry a shoe with one finger or I can grab it firmly I still have it but if I crash and fall into the sofa the Shoe Falls out of my loose grip and that’s what happen with the football he maybe didn’t have it perfectly but he did have it and when his knee hit that’s when the ball came out it didn’t come out before he still had it leave and if it was loosely it wasn’t coming out it didn’t come out until after his knee hit so that was a bogus call
