I respect you SO much for keeping eyes on the road instead of talking into the camera mate. Well done, almost no reviewers do this!

As usual a professional and thorough review. If I wasn't about to buy a 3008, the 5008 might be in contention. Demand a pay rise you deserve one. 💎

Great review. The 5008 is pretty impressive for what it is. A definite contender for many people.

Wow! I like this. I hope Peugeot can be made available in the states again. I remember my friend's stepdad having a Peugeot. It looked classy.

tried a 3008 recently, very impressed. Annoyingly the seats have a really short base though - i'm 6'3 and there was zero thigh/knee support. i think the GT has a seat-extension panel like some BM's but of course on these test drives they always give you top-spec!
@insidelane7 жыл бұрын
GT cars do come with those extensions. Yeah, we will test other trim levels and engines once the 5008 hits the UK.

Great review - though I thought the 3 ISOFIX points in the middle row may have been worth a mention, only Ford and Citroen offer cars with this feature to my knowledge - and they're MPVs, rather than as SUV. Also - thanks for being so quick with getting the video up - first English one!

I saw a top spec GT 3008 in Poland last week in the flesh for first time. its absolutely stunning! real high quality, a big step above the competition, especially the Seat Alteca which looks very dull in comparison.
@conorcranks56177 жыл бұрын
Nice. The 3008 is probably the nicest SUV I've ever seen. Seen one in the flesh yesterday. May just ave to swap my 308 for one. Which I love.

Thanks for a great review. How is access to and space in 3rd row seats compared to Peugeot 5008 MPV and Citroen C4 Grand Picasso.
@insidelane7 жыл бұрын
Access to the third row is ok. Large door helps, but I'd say Picasso is better for access.
@kristianolafsrud72407 жыл бұрын
Thanks. What about space? Is it similar to the Picasso? Legroom and height?
@insidelane7 жыл бұрын
I'd say the middle row is about the same as Picasso, rear seat maybe a bit less. Height is fine in both areas thanks to the square shape of the rear.

When is this thing coming out?? I'm looking update my Bmw 2 GT for bit more space and tech. want to compare this to the Skodiaq, 5008 obviously wins on tech but the Kodiaq on space. want to compare both first.

Car looks cool and I'm seriously considering buying it when it's out. However, I've found the review extremely boring. If it weren't for this car I wold have skipped to the next video half way through. It has also left me with a vague picture of its actual practicality as the human factor who could demonstrate the practical aspects of this car was absent. What's the point of a video review if it won't give me anything more than a written review? Furthemore, in all reviews on 3008 and 5008 the reviewers praise the internal quality of the cabin but it seems that everybody has missed that the rear quality doesn't match the front.(?)
@aks82917 жыл бұрын

Of course it's just an MPV, but it seems obviously a frivolier, where everyone used to be MPV as boring "buses". The baby boomers are more critical than the Calvinists generation before, and the appreciation to crossovers was also noted directly by the marketers by adding a hype to the 'Suv-Look' vs. Fake designs. Eyes like an SUV, but it's not like, like racing stripes on a Panda, is not yet a hothatch, but it looks like, some brands are suggesting double outlets and fake, or by using a radio exhaust noise. It seems apparent and scores well in the sales figures. Back to this 5008 Which has retained its previous model lines and features recognizable, there's some copy and past work on design has been added, eventually this MPV bus, MPV stays, whatever it may be by the SUV -looked peaks that look cooler, they will never see and make unpainted soil. Is it black seeing by me, no! I appreciate more tougher cars, but shoemaker stays with you, and I mean: car journalists keep critical of the marketing crisp bumps that car manufacturers want to give a tag to their models, shining about something that it is not, but seems. Look through there.

Could Peugeot-Citroen return to make a partnership with BMW again ?

They still do, the 165bhp engine is a BMW engine.

What about car platforms ?
@Probot47 жыл бұрын
Caio Caldas Think it's PSA alone, and since Opel have been using the same platforms I think the PSA group buying Opel might be a good idea.
@seven2037 жыл бұрын
I don't know, i think could make rear-wheel-drive cars with BMW.
@rui5187 жыл бұрын
you would you really want a RWD cars? they are impractical whit massive transmission tunnels in rear seats, more dangerous in wet conditions and whit more mechanical things that can go wrong. even Mercedes is having more and more FWD cars and BMW more and more xDrive cars... RWD is only good for fun factor nothing else...
@martinlang96157 жыл бұрын
Peugeot has done it again, really nice...but I will stick with my old 2008 Audi Q7 V8 4.2 TDi which now does 7.5 litres per hundred sitting with cruise control on 90 klm per hour, thanks to remapping and rear muffler being replaced with 2 hot dogs. Not bad for a V8. Way Better than our 2007 Toyota Prado 4 cyl diesel auto 4x4 with mandrel bent sport exhaust system.
