I used to run Nitro. Thank God for Lipo/Brushless. I don't like the fact that I cannot hear announcement during the race

Looks about even to me. Seems more like driving styles more than which car is faster because on the straight they look about even as far as speed.

👍 I have 2 serpent nitro and 2 arc r8s brushless,, brushless is beter( for me😉) but the sound of nitro 👍👍

That electric is a lot faster from the hole but the nitro catches it everytime

Acceleration on the Elo is way faster . I think it is on 4s and maybe an 1900kv Engine ?! Normaly thats enough to bite an nitro engine ! Give a little boost and timing and the nitro is gone ! But i think the shiftpoint is not perfect on the nitro but great skill on this 2 guys 🙌🏼

I doubt it...should be 4S like 8000mah lipo, it is a direct drive pan car so just need 4S lipo with 1900kv motor running alittle turbo will work.

Ha ha ha, electric just play 5 to 10 mnt max. Its whats for play only 5 minute ? How to fight a main for 1 hout ?

Agree.... I used to be a 1/8 gas guy but now give me a 1/8 electric car any day. And with the new Serpent Viper 988e, and improved electronics we can see electric cars will be faster than the gas cars. I prefer the quiet efficiency of electric. And the 6 minute runs are more than enough for a good race.
