The 2018-2019 school year is right around the corner and one thing every teacher needs is a teacher planner!
This planner was my passion project of the year and I have put a lot of thought and consideration to every aspect of this planner’s design. Some of the focus design elements of this planner include: maximizing writing space, addressing secondary teacher needs, and documenting the year.

Omg this is so refreshing! I haven’t come across a lot of high school teacher planning tips - at least in comparison to how many elementary ones. This planner is so much more practical for what I need!

This is blowing my mind! I will be teaching 6th grade ELA in 2019/2020 and have been researching planners that cater to the secondary level. I love EVERYTHING about this! I was looking into Erin Condren, but there are too many unnecessary columns. I would choose yours any day of the week. PLEASE let me know if you choose to make one for 2019-2020! I will 100% purchase one from your store!

I'm not certain. Since it is a PDF, your printer may be able to fit the pages to A5 paper.

I will be student teaching at a high school this coming fall with a block schedule and wondering how you would adjust this planner to work with the block scheduling.

I teach with a block schedule as well! Typically with a block schedule, you might only have one or two class levels to teach every other day. So for me, I teach level 1 on one day and level 2 on another. I use the top half of weekly spreads to log my agenda for the classes that I have on that day.

I love the planner, and the layout but the un-capitalized month names in the at a glance section are killing me.

Amelia Oconnor That's a trend...to not capitalize words that should be capitalized. I teach and I avoid decor that does that..or decor/font that mixes up upper and lowercase letters. It's fancy and trendy but I don't like it for kids. If it's just for me though (like in this planner) it doesn't bother me. ☺️

I got my cover and rings from Staples. It is from the Martha Stewart Discbound collection.

Before I purchase this system from your shop, i'm confused about the zip file? I have a MacBook, so just curious if I will be able to open the file? Thank you!

Yes, you will be able to open up the files. A zip file is a compressed folder that holds all the pdf files. With a MacBook, you should have no problem expanding the folder to access the files.

I'm so sorry for the delayed response! For the divider pages, I used 65 lb. white cardstock paper from Michaels.

Hi, does this come with printing instructions?

It does not come with printing instructions, however the files are set up in a way where you can print the entire document 2-sided. I used scratch paper to keep track of which pages I wanted printed on cardstock. I will make sure to include printing instructions next year!
