First off, I'm about to begin my alternate certification for teaching and I'm particular about organization and I am absolutely LOVING your videos!! I was wondering if you would be willing to maybe post a video going through one you've already completed? I'm still wrapping my mind around lesson planning structures and it would be really neat to be able to visually see how you've utilized your own creation. If not I completely understand though! Thank you for these extremely helpful videos!

How did it end up working out for you? I'm starting law school and have opted to go with the TUL note-taking system, which is my first dabble in the disc bound system. I'm really hoping it goes well!
@arandomhello4 жыл бұрын
I really like the discbound system for planners! I've been using it for 3 years now. However I've never tried it for note-taking. I like being able to remove and attach pages in whatever order I want.

Can this be resized to fit an A5 or the classic HP?
@arandomhello4 жыл бұрын
You can change the printer page settings to resize the document to fit an A5 or Classic Happy Planner. For the A5, you can go into Page Setup to change the paper size to A5. For the Classic Happy Planner, you can set the custom scale to 82%. Afterwards, you can print the pages and trim the excess to fit your planner.

I’ve printed your planner before and loved it. Love this and am definitely purchasing again. If I caught what you said correctly, you mentioned that you use this planner for personal and work. How do you like that? How do you integrate the two so it’s clean and organized and makes sense? Do you carry this back and forth every day from school to home? Just curious because whenever I’ve tried to combine planners, it’s a disaster, but I still love the idea of it working. Also, as another commenter stated, I’d like to see your walk through at the end of the year. Over my 20 years of teaching, I’ve used a TON of planners (both paper and digital) - some were very expensive, many were made for teachers, exclusively. I still think yours is the best. I print what I want as needed and the layout is clean and works so well. I teach two subjects and blocks and use mine exactly how you use yours. It’s so easy and the daily checklists are invaluable. I do miss the pops of color on the weeks with this version (e.g, the colored triangle strip). I don’t use stickers so it will be a little drab, but I’m still looking forward to this planner! Thank you for putting in the time and effort and sharing it with all of us at a price point we can all afford! One last thing! Your designs and layouts for everything have become so professional and polished over such a short time. I’ve watched all your planner videos and the evolution has been reflective, meaningful, and impressive. Good job!

This is blowing my mind! I will be teaching 6th grade ELA in 2019/2020 and have been researching planners that cater to the secondary level. I love EVERYTHING about this! I was looking into Erin Condren, but there are too many unnecessary columns. I would choose yours any day of the week. PLEASE let me know if you choose to make one for 2019-2020! Is there a way you could do a black and white color option? I’d love to have a truly neutral planner, and to be able to print at home. If all the months looked like August, for instance, that’d be awesome.
@arandomhello5 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, I do not currently offer a black and white option. In the meantime, what you could do is print the planner in grayscale by changing the settings when you print.

@arandomhello5 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I don’t make student versions, but this planner can easily be used by students. The teacher specific pages are primarily in the very back of the planner.

Your planners looks very beautiful. I enjoyed your enjoyment of creating your own planner. Also your covers have very nice colors. Incidentally, I also started with the ARC punch. Unfortunately, it happened to me too often that he does not spit out the sheets because he especially plastic, so divider or laminated paper can not separate optimally. I then switched to the Levenger Punches, which can do a lot better. And the discs run also much rounder. - see the comparason here: instagram.com/p/Bi9yucEn-0V/?taken-by=creativeluxstyle

Before I purchase this system from your shop, i'm confused about the zip file? I have a MacBook, so just curious if I will be able to open the file? Thank you!
@arandomhello6 жыл бұрын
Yes, you will be able to open up the files. A zip file is a compressed folder that holds all the pdf files. With a MacBook, you should have no problem expanding the folder to access the files.

@arandomhello6 жыл бұрын
It does not come with printing instructions, however the files are set up in a way where you can print the entire document 2-sided. I used scratch paper to keep track of which pages I wanted printed on cardstock. I will make sure to include printing instructions next year!
