I have MagneRide and we put these springs on my 18 gt, I love them! My car looks so bad ass! Lowered it just enough to eliminate wheel gap, then I put 275 on front and 295 on back and gave my 255 and 275 tires to hubby for his stang!

How low did you lower your car and what springs? And the magnaride shocks does it ride better than stock or the same? I’m asking because I lowered my car 1.2 f 1.3 back with eibach springs AND shocks and my ride feels the same but over bumps and bumpy roads it is not good feeling like eibach should let you know this. I’m feeling pissed because I basically lowered my car only about 1 1/4 with springs and SHOCKS you would think the ride would be the same if not better .

@@ericwatler23 Mine was lowered 1 inch all around. The ride was fine, not any bumpier. I do not have that car anymore, and the guy who bought it, has not complained about the ride. I have a 19 GT350 now, and we did not lower it, it is stock and it will stay that way!

i just did my mag ride front springs yesterday. neat cheat, you can change the springs without a compressor with the lowering springs i got. when i removed the strut i supported the control arm with the floorjack and then remobed the center bolt from the strut assembly then lower the jack and take the lower bolts out the strut and remove the strut from the car with the loose spring on top. then remove the 3 nuts to remove the bearing cap. when i put my springs in my struts i was able to lightly push down on the cap and get 2 or 3 turns on the center nut. more than enough to get it together without a spring compressor. i used the steeda ultimate handling springs for mag ride s550.

If you do this, make sure you get the single piece spring compressor! I got the 2piece and that alone added time and aggravation

so dropping the car 1 inch with magnaride wont mess with the magnaride perimeter settings

Not with an S550 mustang. Sometime newer mustangs look awkward lowered. It depends on the kit you go with IMO.

I did this and regret it everyday. Car looks better but noticbly worse in terms of handling. Spring rate is far too soft and makes the car lose a lot of its specialness.

What is the difference between the progressive and linear springs? Recommendation for a GT PP2 w/MagneRide. Looking for better performance, steering response, grip and feel very planted carving cannons. BMR, Steeda, Ford Performance, or ? Thank you Bill

One really isn't better than another. Progressive springs will have a varying spring rate based on compression, linears are consistent. It just depends on what you are using the car for. Many people prefer progressive because they ride a little better, some prefer linear for their consistency. All three springs sell really well, personally I like the Ford Performance. I have used them on my 18 PP1 and my 16 GT350. Not quite as low as the Steeda though so if you are looking for more drop they would be the way to go.

For you..probably the steeda dual rate mangeride spring will be better. This one is like stock pp1.

Any new insight as to pp2 applications? Do these lower the car more/less due to stiffer factory springs. I spoke to John at Steeda and he said these lower the car 3/4” front and rear. Their website says 1/2 inches for pP1 and pP2. Non pp mustangs 1” drop.

I would say the Steeda sits a little lower, i feel the Ford Performance ride is a little better but they are very close.

You do not have to. The drop isn't that much that they be come an issue, the owner of this car autocrosses it regularly without any problems.

This stinks. I was up in the air whether to get the FP springs for my gt350 or these. I went with FP because there was basically no info on these. I'm happy with the FP but wish they were lower. Looks like these should have been the ones to buy.
