Folding heated side mirrors is great. I Wish they have opt. for panoramic roof and built in recording Dash Cam in case of accident.

I want captains chairs in second row, but the MDX is under 40” of legroom. The Armada and Navigator are better with legroom. The MDX looks nice but it’s too small for bigger people.

Is it true these 2018 came out with transmission issues? Im about to buy one and been reading this all forums. Im getting a used 2018 mdx sh awd, 3yk miles. Any advice helps. Thanks!

Acura did some hardware and software updates to improve the 18-20 MDX 9AT. The 16-17 MDX 9AT had a software update; but, the hardware update after 2018 made the biggest improvements. The 17-20 MDX Sport Hybrid in tech or Adv trim haven't had any issues with the 7DCT.

Nice car but I can't stand these new "push button" shifter. Even saying push button shifter makes me sound so dumb....when do buttons shift.

Love the outside, inside is nothing special especially with the two screens, tacky. Aside from the high safety rating which is great it is too expensive for what you get.

They are about the same in terms of the overall package. It just comes down to whether you are willing to pay a little extra for the extra luxury touches in the MDX. But all in all they're surprisingly close.

I think I the highlander rides, handles, a shifts like junk compared to the MDX and RX350. There is a reason the Highlander is 10K cheaper

Pretty much all modern cars are shifter by wire and some use a fake gear selector still. Acura/Honda just eliminated the fake gear shifter.

Acura mdx 2018 is missing led lights that illuminate the whole car. This is such a basic feature and has been a staple in luxury carsfor years. Acura may be considered a "luxury" car but it definitely doesn't have the luxury experience you would expect from cars like Lexus, mercedes, infinity and BMW

Acura needs to do a dramatic change to there front end and overall design the current styling is beginning to look a bit bland and old so many other car makers have much bolder designs like the Lexus RX350 f-sport for example, I think they should have made the front end bigger and bolder like that hopefully the all new 2019 MDX redesign will shock us all.

I LOVE the exterior of this vehicle, but the interior (double screens) is a complete deal breaker for me. It looks so outdated! Maybe they will get it right in 2020......
