Looks great, I had my RS grille done professionally a few weeks ago and left the ACC as is. It works just fine

Like Kevin, mine is functioning well and I left it as is - I bought an eBay special, looks identical to yours, tho. Same fitment, as well. Having your car elevated, it makes the 1-in offset very obvious. Once down on the ground, only rugrats would be able to point it out.

Thank you for doing this. Great job. You helped me a lot being the Guinea pig for Enthusiasts Brand & ACC relocation (watch the next vid). Well done. Perhaps consider “Bus Art” vinyl, it’s more durable if you vinyl wrap crash bar next time. May hold up longer against rock chips since it’s malleable. I Work with vinyl for work on industrial vehicles with imperfect surfaces.

good tip on vinyl.. i mean i have a lot of vinyl in the garage... just dont think it will stick to aluminum much at all.

That grill does look fantastic. It would be hard to even consider going back after seeing it. Hopefully you find an easy fix to relocate the sensor up an inch.

Brooo! You need to use plastic dip instead of paint to paint the aluminum bumper. The matt plastic dip hides really good and it wont be as noticeable. Thats what i did in my GLi & r8. Plus its also removable

So the best option for the grill is to make a cut in the grill and not use the relocation bracket, so as not to have problems with the accident? I'm not going to put the rs3 grill on it but I do want the acc and audi pre sense to work

Nice cleanup job with the grille. Can’t wait to see what u do with the radar sensor. There’s gotta be a way? Does the RS3’s sensor sit higher than the S3’s from factory? Maybe you can find an OEM bracket or fab your own

I know nothing but id bet the radar sensor is not every sq mm of the square itself and may not error if left in place. Either make a filler piece for top gap or create an error by moving it. Maybe hot glue or rtv a plastic piece on radar opening on back of grill. Option 2: Leave it, at 5+ feet away its not obvious its not normal. Can you tolerate that?

I've got the same car, car grill, same 1-in gap. It's not noticeable once the car is down on the ground. But you also have a good idea here.

Your crash bar didn't have a cover? When i did my grill i was prepared to paint my crash bar too but turned out mine had a cover on it so no need to paint it. And for my acc sensor i chopped the bracket and drilled holes and i was able to move it up enough. The sensor sitting that low would have bothered me too much not to raise it.

it did.. black foam.. i cracked it all off.. it was WAY too thick for that grill.
