its thicker than i expected bro. ill have to read more reviews now that I actually own it.. i wonder how much pressure drop it adds over the stock IC..

Driver’s side small rad is for the DSG. Passenger side is the Auxiliary engine coolant rad 👍🏻 Can’t believe the size of that IE intercooler 💪🏻💪🏻

Great video, very detailed and used it for my aircon rad replacement. TOP TIP when reinstalling and trying to re-fix those tricky (breakable) brackets, rather than using that hook tool, I found that by using 4 cable ties, one for each white hook you can pull them through and into place easily... like 30 seconds easy!!

Great job Mark. I paid to have mine done. HPFP is the bit that I believe you need to run the E30 tune.

thanks. one of my local pickups mentioned its the low pump, but who knows whathe knows.. or what i know.. but i always thought for years its always the HPFP. Which would be a lot easier right? Hell all I need is a HPFP from EQT and i can run my E30 map.. but.. i may be able to get a solution a lot cheaper thru my main parts sponsor DAP Auto.

@@LastHumansGarage I thought it was a part you replaced in the HPFP...that's what one of my GTI buddies up here did to run the EQT E30 file.

@@karstgeo7290 i priced that out a few mins ago. the assembled EQT pump is $750 or something. i wouldnt build my own.

@@LastHumansGarage and that way easy swap in/out if you change things down the road. I totall feel the nervousness with mods like this b/c the whole time you're thinking....if I f this up, I'm going to have to have my car towed....ahahaha

Bro, that's one hell of an install! Respect. It's too big of an install myself, unless I had another daily standing around. A side benefit of this job is that you could clean off all those radiators / condensors so all is like brandnew again. What's the weight difference? I guess it's at least twice the weight juding by the thickness of the core.

i dropped one screw last night on my checkup, so ill be taking just the bumper off one more time to check it.. tempted to remove my fogs to have no inspection headaches but the fogs are one of my favorite things.
