This show is going to go VERY far this season. Top 4 calling it.

That is most definitely a Gino Cipriani hornline!

The reason this music is working is the kids can pull emotion from it, like old school corps used to be all about. It's why their last 2 years have been a quick ascent. Because the fans and kids can get into the show, it will be top 6 no doubt. They are VERY clean already. This reminds me 2000-2003 when they came out of nowhere and got really good.

Safe to say this will be their most successful year in terms of placement and score.

I think they have a shot at top 5. HOWEVER, that would automatically mean that one of BD, SCV, Crown, Cavaliers, or Coats gets knocked out of the top 5. Everyone has been pushing the envelope to such an amazing degree and raising the bar higher and higher. In my opinion, the majority of the top corps have reached or even surpassed expectations every year. With this in mind, who falls out of the top 5? BD? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA SCV? They have been a top 5 fixture for the last half decade plus, and they were sooooooooo good last year that it's hard to imagine them taking THAT big a step back. Crown? As long as that hornline stays what it is, they will always have a shot at winning the whole thing. They took SIXTH in percussion in 2013 and took the championship. Sure their guard isn't what it's been, but again it's just hard to imagine, but possible if the hornline dips. Cavies? Maybe the most likely, only because they haven't proven they can stay this competitive in the present era. Even so, they were awfully strong last year. Coats? If they keep jazz running their kids TO DEATH and breaking their bodies, then yeah I could see it. With how ridiculous the physical demand was on each kid, it's no surprise that they just lost steam as the year went on. You could convince me of either Cavaliers or Bluecoats. Even so, I would think it's more likely that both of them are even stronger than last year, and one or both of them seriously contend for top 3 or the championship. In other words, I think Boston can do it, they just better have the visual package to back up their music.

Glad they performed in my hometown. Really nice musicianship. It was interesting to see the reaction to those in the audience that know drum corps and those probably listening for the first time. I think DCI should do a study on what the latter group would pull them in to a drum corps shown (maybe, more identification with the music, etc).

They sound fantastic early on, top 5 this year at least. This could be a really, really close competition year.

A lot of the design staff for my high school's show is from Crusaders, I really hope our arrangements will turn out to be as exciting as this stuff! Great show so far!

I cant stop listening to 2:16-2:51. Its the perfect build up to that last chord. Long live bass 5, pluggin away during the chord, makin it so sweet.

This is a show I need to see. I think the brass is super (some real tasty runs), but I am not in love with the hornline book. Their visual and guard staff are great, so I want to see the whole package before I decide what I think entirely.

They sound exactly like Cadets but you can hear still missing some talent that Cadets had in their 13 and 11 lines that made them elite. Same sound loud though. Unique Gino Sound

I know that Amazing Grace kind of fits arbitrarily into their theme with being lost and then found, etc; but I think it would be more emotional to end on Cast Away theme. The transition right now breaks up that emotion unnecessarily.

Fab. Loved the arrangements. Percussion feature close was awesome. The use of electronics and singing totally unnecessary and a distraction. But loved the overall production. Well done.
