I love how the 2018’s performance exhaust has a perfect blend between engine sound and exhaust sound. I hate exhausts that try too hard to be loud that you cant hear the engine anymore.

2018 with flying colors. Nothing beats an exhaust that can be loud but still sound good and be quiet when you need it to be. I had either a Borla ATAK or Stinger S-Type ( round can ) on my 2010 GT Premium and it was just loud.

Bro! This is in Gaithersburg, MD on Airpark RD! I can't believe I recognize the street and area. So many shops and bike shops are up in Airpark and I'm not surprised to see them all on Airpark Rd jumping on it all of the time. I randomly typed in Mustang GT exhaust into the search bar and this is the first video I click on.

I have a 2019, PP2, Active Exhaust. In Canada it is a $1,000 option. I love it, the other options are more money but in this case I can easily change from Quiet Mode to Sport+ to Track. Track is good to annoy neighbours, Quiet is good when sitting in traffic next to a cop, Sport+ is good all around. I'd recommend putting My Mode in Sport+ but adding the Track Exhaust. Cheers!

Love the borla atak on my '16 gt. Wish I had the active version like 18+ for cold starts at home. We have good neighbors and they've never complained, but would prefer not to draw attention to myself every time I get ready to leave.😆

Active for sure. Corsa sounds great but the fact that the active can sound that damn good then with the push of a button be quiet. Active has kind of a pissed off mad max kind of sound & I love it.

Does exhaust modes still works in 2018 if you change ??? Like quit mode sometimes sound feels headache so if I change my exhaust from stock to ROUSH or any others can I use quit mode when I want ??

Actually the best thing about the active exhaust is putting it in quiet mode so you don’t blow the neighbors out of their beds when you start up in the morning. But if quiet mode purrs then track mode fucking roars.

Insane Rides I have Stillen long tubes, Stillen B-pipes with high flow cats, magna flow X-pipe, and 2 Flowmaster Super 44's on my 2010 Titan. All 2.5" stainless. K&N cai, 1" throttle body spacer and an UpRev tune. It sounds badass! Not like mustangs but still pretty badass!

To me the ATAK actually sounded louder than the Corsa. I have the ATAK. I love them, but at 4:30 in the morning when I go to work, the neighbors may not. Must have been the Mic? I have heard that the Corsa are louder. Also you don't say what mode the 2018 is set to. Kind of a HUGE over-site considering there are 4 levels to it.

Corsa best at idle. But the sound of '18 on the move was ecstasy. I assume that was without the active exhaust. I think track mode would have a lower tone. Thank you for a great video! Nice production and editing

James White Not only that but the way exhaust sound blends in with the motor sound is just heavenly. Becuase most of the time people try and just make it loud which imo doesn't sound good if you can't even hear the engine. I like the 2018 becuase it has a perfect blend and not only that you can make it super loud or quiete when you need it which is just perfect.

I think the 2018 active exhaust is so close to the Borla that there is little difference. I'm going to buy the active exhaust as you can change the settings and it probably is less $$$

Retro Gamer I can’t imagine someone not wanting the 12” digital gauge cluster over the analog. You can get a base 2019 GT bare bones 6 speed manual for 29,000 to 31,000 on sale, but if your going to buy a new GT might as well save up and get it loaded. Yes it adds 15,000 to get big screens for both radio and dash along with leather and pp1 with magna ride but it takes the car to another level

A decibel meter will fine tune which is loudest however, if you don't choose the $895.00, I wonder how much more would be spent on the other systems including the down time of the vehicle, and effort to install (diy). Would the difference in the tune of the sounds and loudness be worth it? I would go with the factory installed system and probably install an X pipe just to drop some weight. Great video for sound tune comparison.

I have borla stingers on my 2006 Mustang GT, that sounds fantastic. I would normally lean on getting another pair of Borlas, but for me the oem active exhaust FTW.....they sound fantastic. The corsas just sound fking annoying

Blacklisted Zl1 It doesn't sound that loud idle but when revving or cruising the 2018 active sounds like a beast, it's the best overall. Ford did an amazing job for a stock factory exhaust.
