I had a chance to ride 2018 EC300 at the gasgas press event and was impressed. I am glad to see another European brand. delivering great product, 2 stroke off road scene is becoming very interesting. hope Japanese manufacturers can come up with adequate response.

Dirt N Iron yahama is the only Japanese company that still produces 2 strokes. Sad that most of manufacturers stopped producing 2s and made gay strokes. That's why a lot of people ride yamaha.

This machine is tough to beat for riding the epic technical trails in central Idaho. When you ride steep narrow rocky cliff-hanger side hills with lots of nasty boulder steps, and it takes 6 hours to go 30 miles, no other 300 2 stroke does it better!

I had one from about 2010. It was fun but I just get better traction and do less damage to the terrain on a 4 stroke. Plus I get lots better gas mileage.

Love mine stock as a rock went rm needle to Clean up carbie and 50 rear sprocket pulls like a school Boy very easy to ride snap when U need but not scary

Jetting being finicky is an understatement jetting is a bitch to get right with stock n1ef needle ... what a nightmare but like he said once its dialed shes sweet n krispy

the frame is a twin to my 2017 300xc and look at the swingarm looks like ktm. wonder if some one is building same frame for ktm and gasgas

The whole bike borrows heavily from KTM design. Even the fairing design is almost identical to 17' model Kato's. The only area they strived to be different is the Headlight and that looks like shit. Nothing against GG, but this is a shameless Euro clone.

there going to get fuel injection if they want to keep making 2 strokes. people that haven't owned or at least ridden a gas gas should keep their comments to their self. They make a great bike.I agree they haven't got the weight down as much as they should .

I ride a beta 300RR and love it. Was given a XC300 yesterday and loved it. Quite a few times I forgot I was on a different bike. It was almost as good as my beta out of the box.

Chow Lynlyn GasGas doesn’t make moto bikes. Their thing is trials and enduro bikes.

RideWithWill No different than any other euro bike. Early 18s had trouble with the battery ground strap but that’s an easy fix. There’s really not much to go wrong with these bikes.

there paper towel bikes you get a few uses and throw em away. you cant argue that a gasgas is more reliable then a honda or a suzuki or any of the major japanese brands. idk what ur saying theres only a feew brands making blah blah what does that have to do with gas gas?

Reece634 not trying to argue man. i was just asking. i love japanese bikes too but the only 2 stroke enduro from japan is a yamaha and its a modified mx bike for the trails. all the purpose built enduros are from europe. gas gas, beta, husqvarna, ktm, and tm. i wish nothing more than for the japanese brande to produce 2 stroke enduros.
