Nice review. I own cx9 signature and love it bro! I have the light silver with the auburn color seats and like you, I was blown away when I first saw the leather seat color. BAM!!! Before I looked at Mazda I was looking at Infinity and BMW, Lexus, and for the price and options, Mazda stepped up their game tremendously and was the best fit for me. Man, no buyers remorse here!! Been 6 months and I still enjoy my cx9. Bro, thanks for the great review!

Man Mazda really stepped up on this vehicle I feel like nowadays Kia Hyundai and Mazda are definitely a threat to the more well established brands the fit and finish in these Mazda’s compete with vehicles worth $20k more than the price of this one once people get away from being brainwashed by large brand names like bmw, Mercedes, Audi etc and open their eyes they will see these vehicles are not only cheaper and better and not breaking the bank.

Thank you I appreciate it I watch other reviewers as well I honestly don’t care for a lot of it because they use big technical terms that a regular person buying a car really don’t care about and then they focus on too much of driving the car instead of telling us if it’s worth it or not and when they do they sugarcoat it and lie.

I really appreciate you taking the time out to give a very informative video. I was actually wondering about the 3rd row as I am in the market for a SUV this fall. I was waiting for the 2019 to drop though. Shouldn’t be too much different outside of some electronic additions I would presume.

The 3rd row was kind of small if you are going to have adults riding back there I would not recommend it but if you have small kids then it’s fine as far as tech only thing I’m aware of is apple CarPlay and android auto standard instead of having to update the system.

Beautifullll. Not gonna lie, I’d end up making payments saying that I’m still a student hoping off college. I’ve seen the white interior and my goodness. I almost fell in love with it until I was reminded of this interior. Contrasts so well with the silver and wood inlay.

they are getting it, I have the cx9 and they say they are offering it to this model owners and putting it into the 2019 models.

Noel Silva you can easily hack your infotainment system and get it on their. I've watched several videos of it but it obviously voids your warranty. That's the only reason I don't do it to mine.

I am not sure when I did this review I didn’t see any others with a entertainment package I will be going back to Mazda soon to see the differences they’ve made in the newer vehicles soon.

Not sure if I stated it in the video or not but these models currently do not offer CarPlay or android until 2019 but some of the mazda6 models do offer it i was told you can have the unit upgraded to support CarPlay and android auto.

They were a little stiff but as time goes on and it gets wear I’m sure they will be fine.

I like it like that its comfortable for me., i have bmw x5 e70 , seats are so firm. I bought Acura Mdx 2015 which i traded to CX9, the seats of acura is like a Van. CX 9 is a bit firm not too firm like my Bmw. Over all i like it.

$45k for 227 hp and a smaller interior? That doesn't add up vs the competition. Looks nice though so I guess that's how the grab people. Doesn't look like a lot of legroom for a SUV.

I agree $45k is steep but vehicles in general are going up in price but I feel with an suv with a 3rd row they should at least be able to sit a 6 foot person comfortably in the 3rd row not just Mazda but Chevy as well Tahoe example try fitting an adult in the 3rd row not going to happen same with suburban not enough room for the money.

Most of it's competition like the Pilot, Traverse, Santa Fe all get V6s which I prefer to 4 cyl. The Pilot, Traverse and Highlander seat 8 to the CX-9s 7. The best thing I'd give the CX-9 is best looking interior vs the rest but again at that price point it's not worth it to me. If it was a leftover model and they dropped 10k off the price, I'd be all over it but not for $45k. Thanks for the review as well!

No problem man the best thing to do car shopping anyway is to wait until like Christmas or New Years and pick up a leftover model and get all the incentives and rebates and price mark downs and make off like a bandit lol.

I negotiated and got my '18 CX-9 pearl white signature for $40,400 with 0% financing (with no rebates or cash back). For $40k you're not going to get a nicer interior or exterior with all the bells and whistles that come with the signature. Yes, it's a turbo 4, but the 310 lb-ft of torque will get you up to speed real quick.
