If it were a 2017 the Camaro would win but this new Gen 3 Coyote sounds really good and as much as I like the Camaro, the new 5.0 definately wins.

I will admit I hated the exhaust note of a Coyote gen 1-2 because it sounded raspy and European compared to the 4.6. However the Coyote gen 3 motor is the first Coyote I love to hear. What trickery did Ford do to the exhaust pipes I wonder?

Yeah.... Mustang hands down. Camaro is a beautiful car but it sounds like it needs to go through puberty when it comes to the exhaust.

As a '17 SS1LE owner, I'd say Mustang will most always win with exhaust. In my opinion, it takes some big mods like cam and headers and etc to beat the Mustang in terms of sound. In the end, each car sounds amazing.

Is that Mustang tuned...because the Camaro hit the limiter and the Mustang didn't. I like both but the high pitch of the Mustang doesn't sound as good as the deeper tone of the Camaro. I have longtube headers with the Corsa Xtreme and its fantastic. Corsa is imo the best exhaust out there.

For starters I love them both but a little unfair put the mustang in a closed building for the start up the camaro may as well have been outside rear at the open door then for the rev be right behind the mustang and 30 feet behind the camaro I would say the mustang but I would say get the mustang fan to have his unbiased friends set up the camera angles

Mustang V8 is the rawest sounding coupe you can get. Whether the 5.0 Coyote GT or the 5.2 Voodoo GT350, that soundtrack is emmense. The Camaro ain’t authentic like that.

I swear x-pipes make mustangs sound like an elephant. The SS was beefy, throaty, deep. Toss in a H-pipe in the mustang and it'll sound like muscle. X-pipes make mustangs sound like they got neutered. Like it's a smaller motor.
