What's up with everyone hating on Nissan. I had two Altimas and both rode on the highways without any problems, and I am a leadfoot with my cars. Furthermore, both cars were sharp and sleek looking, much better looking than the Camry or the Accord. I used to get a lot of compliments for both cars. I prefer the 6 cylinder over the 4 cylinder, but I've had both and both rode like a charm, and I never had a problem with the powertrain on both. I think people like to repeat what others say. As if Toyotas and Hondas don't have their powertrain issues. So much hate for Nissan, not fair, Nissans are much better than Kias or Hyundais and yet I don't see so much hate for these cheap Korean cars. What's up? Everyone, just chill. Let people live. Nissan Altima is not bad at all and it is a good deal for the price. Peace.

I have a question, how was the turn radius? I always found Nissan turn radius to be weak. everything is a 3 point turn. I had a Juke, Sentra and Altima and they all had horrible turn radius. Why do you think that is?

We own this car. My family does and we plug ourselves into it.

I still can't believe they haven't included a digital speedometer on the Altima. I was thinking about looking at the 2018 Altima and possibly trading in my 2015 Cruze but I think I'll wait until the next gen Altima in 2019. Either way, Nissan has a lot to do in the 2019 Altima to even coe close to competing for sales against the newly redesigned Camry and Accord!

Thinking about a used Nissan Altima but the CVT transmission issues worry me.I am in Canada and Nissan covered the older Nissan vehicles In late 2009, Nissan extended the warranty against failures on earlier 2007- 2010 CVT transmissions to 10 years or 200,000 km.But Nissan is doing nothing for owners of 2011 and newer Nissan vehicles. They are in the US but not Canada.Canadian owners have started class action law suits against Nissan on their failing or already failed CVT transmissions .So Nissan is is not acting in a responsible manner and admitting there is a problem with 2011 -2018 Nissan CVT transmissions. It is a very expensive repair as Nissan CVT don't seem to be repairable ,so you have to replace the entire CVT transmission.

I'm getting a Nissan Altima on Saturday but I keep reading bad reviews on their CVT transmission. Now I dont know if I want it or not.
