Me and my friend already have this diffuser ordered and as you’ve said in comment, we’re still waiting for just a diffuser installation video so we all know where to connect those 3 wires, if we should take off that black trim or not and where in the diffuser we’re screwing. Thank you!

It's weird...I didn't get the connectors you got with yours. Can you provide the link where you got those exact ones with the connectors like that?

how did you wire up the third brake light cables? did you tap into the taillights at all or into the sequential reflectors.

I tap it into the sequential reflectors. There were three wires in the 3rd brake light. Red1 (Brake) Black1 (Ground) White1 (Live/parking). Reflector had 4 colors, Red2 (Brake), Black2 (Ground), Yellow2 (Turn Signal) and Green2 (Live). Red1 goes to Red2, Black1 goes to Black2 and White1 goes into Green2.

Hey did you have a link for the reflectors? I got an xse and most doesn’t fit the house of the reflectors, these seems to fit well.

@@nixongonzales88 you need a fuse tester and then look for "Live, Ground and Brake". Then tap the wires into car's taillight harness.

You didn’t show where you rewired the diffuser’s light ….the whole reason why I clicked this video but it doesn’t show how to plug the wire, just great

You can T-tap them into either side (driver or passenger) side tail lights. All they need is brake wire, DRL wire, and Negative.

do you still have to file down the lights to get them t slide all the way in?

Yes, filing is needed as the lights are after market and doesnt really fot as the OEMs one.

Yes, it works fine with the taillight brake lights. Its not too bright as its not much visible during day time but fair amount of brightness at night.

Do not attempt to connect those 3 wires! I tried to install mines and it tripped a malfunction on my brake collision system and pre collision system. I cannot start nor drive my car at all because of it! Idk how this dude did it but please be careful. I tried disconnecting the battery to reset it and it still shows the warnings. Update: so it was blown fuse, make sure that you whenever you are connecting the wires, don’t let them touch each other! These modern cars are very sensitive with all this safety sensors and features it has

@@A1.CLiiiPz I actually have mine installed atm for a couple weeks now. I somehow got rid of the collision system malfunction messages on my display. Haven't had any issues ever since. I did the method that he did and it ended up working for me.
