I have a 24 Silverado with Bose. It's TERRIBLE! the 2018 i had previously was a much better system. How can that even be?! I finally broke down and added a shallow 12 under the back seat. Now it's serviceable 😅

Really appreciate this video. My 2020 chevy 2500 HD did not come with a sub so I thought I was out of luck and had to tap doors. Your video saved me.yellow wires in the kick panel on 20chevy too.. triple what a door speaker sub gave me on my amp side

THANK YOU!!! We had a JL W7 10” put in our 2020 Silverado. When they hooked it up it sounded terrible it had no power and it had all ranges of audio coming through. (We have a JL 1000watt amp). We looked and they hooked it up through the left rear speaker. We have spent so much time trying to find out why it did not sound good. I saw this video and saw about the yellow wires and looked and even ours has it, we do not have the bose upgrade either. We just hooked it up that way and it sounds amazing. THANK YOU!

I do not see yellow/black wires in that wiring harness.. is there different factory sub speaker wires?

Could my sound system cause intermittent starting I put the remote where she put it and my truck has been doing intermittent starting does anyone know what that fuse goes too that you’re tapping into for the remote

Can you please let me know. When i connect the yellow and yellow/black wires do i connect the right&left speaker postive to one then right/left speaker negative? or do i just do one? Thanks for the help

Awesome install. You have a widening diagram for this for running the yellow wires and the high/low rca’s?

Has anyone installed on Amp on a 2022 Sierra AT4. The right side fuse box has no extra lugs for remote install. What location or fuse did you have to connect the remote wire? I would guess if no extra fuse blade location available one used a add a fuse link in say an 10 amp fuse location that only turns on while the ignition is on?

Does all installs need a high/low device? I have a 2022 GMS AT4 (refresh). I just took out my old amp and sub from the 2021 Silverado and did not see such a device.

What is the brand of the box. I have 2 fosgate 12 t1 subs I want to install under my seat. I need at least a 6.75 mounting depth and preferably a ported box.

Thanks for your videos. I used it to install my own amplifier and subs in my 2021 hd. Have you installed any 2022 Yukon’s? I would like to know what wires to use for an amplifier install. Thanks

I'm coming from a 2019 Ford with the B&O sound system. It was terrible just hooking up a hi to low set-up as it used voltage to regulate the amount of volume the sub had. So when it was low volume it was too much bass, and hi volume it would roll off dramatically to protect itself. Do these Bose systems do the same? I really don't want to have to do the digital to analog conversion just to get a clean signal and have gains set properly
