Great comparison. I like the looks of this Audi. Those wheels look good but I shudder to think of the ride and how many wheels and tires you have to replace when you put it in a pothole.

Love these two! Great review as always. Honestly, I think I'd go for the Genesis G80 Sport with the copper accents over these two. I don't want touch controls for my climate system when it's negative 30 degrees in the winter and nothing will respond like in the Audi. Also fingerprints everywhere is dirty. These two are not my favorites of the class. I Also have no idea what 450 stands for in the Mercedes. Originally thought the 4s where the mid AMG tier. Guess not

I was cross shopping the two and took the A6. E class was just too bland for my taste, preferred the C class styling more (coming from a C43).

Bullshit about the audi transmission, there is a huge lag in response. Even every journalists have raised this issue and I am living with. It just does not want to kick down, when it does its like hitting a brick wall oppose to a smooth progression like the BMW/Mercedes. Also the hybrid systems only helps support the start/stop system and allow engine cut off at higher speed for coasting....... it does not provide any drive.

On paper mercedes wins this game performance wise. But the design of Audi A6 is undoubly better and you feel indeed more modern in it. And since Mercedes is know for it very high comfort standard, it is not suprising that it is more fun driving an Audi than a Mercedes, even tho in term of Acceleration and Racetime the Mercedes is way better. I would take the Audi, even tho i don't like the low Middleconsole and only touchscreen theme. I am very drive oriented and there is no point in driving 250kmh, if it feels slow. For daily driver they are both very good cars. Mercedes has more Horsepower, but has a lower fueltank, so you need to go more often to fuelstation. On the other hand, Mercedes has more safety from the get go. So depending on what people want: Look (Audi), Performance (Mercedes), Value (Horse Power= Mercedes, Upkeep=Audi), Safety (Mercedes), Feeling (Audi), Tech (Audi). It is kinda a close match.

Let me preface this statement by saying I'm an audi owner 2017 s6. The sole reason for selecting audi over mb is simply because I believe audi has the best interior design. I test drove and inspect in every detail possible all E-class models [Only the E-63S was better in terms of power output], but the Audi was so much better in terms of interior design. Subtle, not too flashy but truly modern. The MMI.is perfectly positioned on the dashboard makes it EXTREMELY easy to see the navigation as you drive without getting distracted. This is one of the things I love with the audi--navigation is positioned so that you don't have to look DOWN to see where you are going. I think this is where audi may've..went wrong with this design. Keep the navigation MMI..system where it originally was--it makes the vehicle look much better. This could've been a better review. Great cars, but Quattro rules!😂😂

Neither. Isn’t that the old A6? Plus, the interior manages to look both futuristic and cheap at the same time. Lots of screens but also lots of shiny black plastic. My uncle has the E Class. Nice car, but interior quality is shockingly down compared to BMW. Things creak in there. And the plastic bits, while sorta hidden (but not really) are like Toyota Yaris grade plastic. I’m not trying to be facetious when I say that the new K900 has a better interior lol. The alternative? Well, if you must have a German luxury sedan, I think the 5 Series is the best. Otherwise (and hear me out), the new Cadillac CT6 is the way to go. It looks better than all these cars, drives better than all these cars, has ‘super cruise’, and will be dead cheap to maintain since most things can be raided from GM’s bottomless parts bin. It’s kinda like stealth wealth, but not really. Also, is Jodi leaving?

The A6 Looks cheap inside & has a lot of Plastic Parts...The Materials are just crap...Look at These plastic caps on the Bang&olufsen Sound system...anyway the Benz is the Quality Car, while the A6 tries was too hard.
