I'm definitely leaving everything in 2018 behind, cuz my Ma died 3 days ago and I love her so much and I miss her, and I know that she'd want me to be happy! I mean it's not about making it look perfect, it's about helping make your life more productive, organised and less stressed. If you are stressed about bujo-ing then you should probably take a different approach 😅😊

Its okay if you mess it up a little bit - that’s how you learn, after all. The great thing about the bullet journal is that if you mess it up or end up disliking it, you can just start again on the next page. I would say: don’t be afraid to make mistakes. I’m also a massive perfectionist so I understand the need to have everything looking beautiful but, the truth is, your bujo is a tool. If you spend so long laying out your tools in such a beautiful and perfect way that you’re afraid to use them in case you muck them up, then it’s no longer useful to you.

I too, understand the struggle. I suggest using a pencil first (then trace over with a pen), and find some spreads that you like and just model a combination [at first, as you can better personalize your spreads after a while]. For example, I write my bujo in korean (3rd language) to help me learn months and emotions, i track my water, my mood etc but only after months of trial and error

I think that realistic resolutions is the key to completing them. :P way too many make unrealistic goals. I've bought a Filofax where I can insert and remove pages as I want. Was very disappointed with the official bullet journal, everything bleeds through except for pencil and it was so expensive that I expected better. 🤪 Also I like the idea of not having to flip through if I run out of space and such things as you mentioned, or replacing a spread if I find something better etc. For the habits I'm gonna make it follow lines so not having to write all the numbers. I'm thinking about getting some sticker paper and print out the months, also since I'm making for both my mom and I and have hypermobile joints. 😆 (shortcuts is what I'm all about as an artist or for productivity, lol, otherwise I'd not be able to use my hands half the time, lol.. Work smarter, not harder! 😎) Really like the minimalistic theme with a pinch of small art. I've been doing that too and gonna continue to. I can't help myself to doodle all over too, so it's also leaving space for extra doodles in the future. ;o) and I've insert blank paper last in my journal for sketching, doodles etc. Thinking about trying to see if I can make watercolor paper fit, for the monthly front pages. I'd love to see different bullet journal spreads etc for studying and such in the new year, maybe a compilation of your favourite spreads from 2018 or spreads you've thought of - you're so organised, I wanna be like you sort of ish. 😍 Which might be the biggest compliment you'll ever get from me, never say such things. 😂 Have a merry Christmas and a wonderful happy new year ❤️ 🎄 Thank you for an inspiring year of art and planning!

Good tip for people who say they don't have time or have bad handwriting: there are stamps/stencils for almost anything! I have absolutely terrible handwriting and wishes I could calligraphy in anyway, but I just bought stamps of the month names as well as mini calendar stamp so my hand doesn't cramp and it's not time consuming and always neat.

This video literally put me into such a wonderful and calming daze. I could feel myself smiling throughout the entire video. ( I must have looked ridiculous. ) But now I feel so refreshed and inspired to start the new year. This video was delightful. Thank you for sharing it.

I love journaling but I made one and it ended up being empty cause things just happen unexpected and I can't just write them and wait for them, is that just me or anyone can relate?
