@@mariasalazar7576 its whats known as a bogey water for me, most fishermen have them, and this lake is mine. Its just a matter of time before you catch but until you do, you just keep plugging away until victory .... once you get a bogey water you have to keep gong back until you win, the fish are not allowed to win lol or is that me being a stubborn old fool...probably the latter 😁

Hello Martin hope your well mate yes I use the UCO T light only not the bigger version due to the candles are a pound each and that internal spring etc takes some cleaning every morning and the tea lights are cheap as chips, you get the same amount of light ...1 candle power lol

yeh looking back i wasn't giving any quarter but that hook did not set and when i got it back, the zig had pulled over the hook so not sure what happened there, but i know now where those devils patrol up and down I know the wraps to get real tight to the bank........ next time ......next time Martin LOL

Im close, very close to beating my duck on this complex cant stop now. When I lost the one during the night i thought well that happens but to lose that one in the last hour was painful I never try and take myself too serious but you can see the determination now to get this bogey water out of the way lol gutted totally gutted 😁 I sure got some stick when Chris got his 18lb (as you can imagine) but all part of the fun 👍

Maff T UK I remember on a fishing holiday in France when we were having a tough time of it. Some of the fish started dying due to lack of oxygen the week before. The bailiff offered us our money back when we arrived, but we didn't fancy either driving the 700 miles or so home again without wetting a line, or the prospect of finding somewhere else to fish whilst over there. Btw, that's a tip for you, make sure they have your mobile number before you leave because in our case the only contact details they had was my e mail. And who on earth checks their e mail before setting off to France fishing!! Anyway, there was me still blanking going in to Weds night. My mate had managed just 2 by this time, and normally it's a fairly prolific water. So, I was sat there all miserable having our BBQ and a beer when, just into dark, I got one toner on my left hand rod. So, there I was playing what felt like a good, and then my middle rod tore off too. Definitely a different fish, because they were running in opposite directions. So there I was playing this carp, whilst the other rod was peeling off line and, after about ten minutes the hook pulled! No time to sulk, I dropped that rod and picked the other up and the fish was still on. Well, for a couple of minutes anyway, and then that one dropped off too! Now my "mate" reckons he didn't, but I definitely heard him snigger. Well, the rod got thrown in the bushes, and I went off on a proper rampage through the undergrowth. He reckoned he could here me still crashing through the woods from half a mile away. 3 hours I was gone for, walking Christ knows where. So far in fact, I nearly got totally lost. Anyway, eventually I got my head back from my arse and came back. My mate and I never spoke all day until that afternoon he had a carp on and just as he was about to net it the rig sprang free and the lead flew back, hit him in the mouth, and there was blood everywhere. And when I saw the state of him I stupidly said "serves you right"! Well, he stormed off in a huff then didn't he.....lol! Anyway, we made up on the last night, and I even caught a 30 and a 40 too last knockings. There is no moral to the tale, except there are more important things in life than carp!

Chris i got that from angling direct came in just two days and it performed very well over the winter session really pleased with it 👍

sharp hooks.... copy cat fishing..... not afraid to admit, that last lost fish was on a sticky sharp hook mimicking Chris's rig but nope its just my bogey water Tom TTE but i will get one out but i was Flaming gutted :-(
