So happy to see you again! It is not possible to know how much energy goes into having a baby until you have one. Congratulations! Also, thanks for the video!

Happy and Healthy New Year to the Pen Pixie and Family! Great to see you back. I can't believe he's 8 months already!! Love your system. It's simple and it works. What more can you ask from a planner. I am planning SO very simple nowadays. I have a pocket At-A-Glance weekly which is something I've used for a good 15 years...and I'm trying out a B6 Slim Jibun Techo. Actually not sure how long that will last, but I'm giving it a try.

Thank you! I can't either. Time escapes me! I like simple. I really do. No frills, no stickers. Just something to write stuff down and keep everything in one place. I may end up taking this back, but I'm kind of over Asian-made planners right now. I need English and spaces big enough to write and see. How is the Jibun Techo working for you? As always, thanks for watching and commenting. :-)

Happy new year! I’ve missed seeing you on here 😀 I can’t believe your son is 8 months old! After seeing all your other planners, this looks perfect for you, and really fits in with you and your lifestyle. I like the tip about the thicker paper - sometimes the small joys in life like turning the page of a nice piece of paper is so simple but worth savouring (I’m a paper nerd 🤓). The scattered squirrel has so many printables that are so helpful, but I ended up sticking with the passion planner that year. And no pressure about writing back, that’s the joy of it 😉

Oh, 2019! I’m using a hobo A6 for journaling, and for planning I use a B7 Muji monthly planner and the hobo weekly supplement. That being said, I have an A6 ring planner coming, and for Christmas I got a wellness planner and a Starbucks moleskine planner from Korea! I have so many I don’t know what to do with them!

I love that you have this predicament! I have a Muji notebook, and if it's the same paper as the planner, it's really nice. What are you going to do in your rings? I can't believe he's 8 months old either. So much has happened, and time has escaped me. Thank you for your patience and understanding. And as always, thanks for watching and commenting. :-)

@@ThePenPixie I've been using TNs so all my random notes are all over the place, so I'll be taking the books apart so I can arrange them to my hearts content! The Muji paper is so so nice I keep a little notebook in my bag 😍 I hope you enjoy your time with your son over the next few years All these moments are precious so I understand when other things fall to the side temporarily 💖 give him a hug for me!

It's so nice to have a video from you again! I've been exploring Happy Planners--mainly because it is a disc system and the notepaper it uses is very thick and fountain pen friendly, also. I like the Arc system but it has a different number of discs from HP, so I don't think I can go from one to the other.

I'm not really sure about the rings in the Happy Planner. I think the HP paper is kind of an odd size that wouldn't really fit with the Arc. I could be wrong, but I have seen a HP before, and it seemed somewhere in between the Arc Junior and Standard. I see so many HP videos on KZfaq and they look so cute and cheerful. Maybe one year I'll try one. For now, I'll stick to my free DIY planner. Money is tight around here! Thanks for watching and commenting. :-)

@@ThePenPixie I think the big HP is the same size as the standard Arc, 11 discs. And they are interchangeable with the punches etc. Most of the HP stuff is for their Classic size though, which is 9 discs. But they have some for the big as well. They also have a Mini size, which is 7 discs.

when you say heavy paper do you mean cardstrock? I have been looking for a good type of paper for my arc system so I don't have to buy staples.

I mean heavier weighted paper. I just buy mine at the grocery store most of the time. I try to find the heaviest weight paper that affordable. I find 28lb paper is nice. Thanks for watching and commenting. :-)

Love the Arc system but cant get stuff for it in the UK. My punch only fits 3 sheets of paper at a time. Welcome back by the way and many congratulations on the birth of your son

Thank you! I don't know why Staples doesn't make Arc widely available online. The Staples near me has way more than the website (which is a terrible selection). It's such a great, versatile product. What a bad decision on their part. Do you have Office Depot or Office Max in your area? You could also check their websites. From what I've seen, they now offer an Arc-type system of their own called TUL. It's basically the same in every way and is interchangeable with all Arc products. That might be worth checking out. Thanks for watching and commenting. :-)

@@ThePenPixie The Staples online store in the US doesn't even ship abroad at all. We have our own Staples (both shop and online store) here in Norway, Europe, and they have even less Arc stuff than the US online store. But fortunately they have some, at least. What I have done recently is to also DIY my own entire discbound planner/notebook, including covers and dividers. Fortunately I have a laminater and pouches, so I have laminated my own covers. I've used some scrapbook paper which I decorated. It looks really nice with matt laminate. Luckily I have an Arc punch that can punch laminate though. However, there are KZfaq videos out there on punching laminated or other thicker covers with a regular single hole punch and scissors if one doesn't have a heavy duty disc punch.

Good to see you again dear friend!! May I ask where you got your clear page protectors that are disc bound punched? I have searched hi and low but have not been able to find them! Thanks so much

I bought all of these discbound items from Staples. They are their Arc brand. Thanks for watching and commenting. :-)
