My mom and grandmother have a 2020 Ford Edge AWD and we love it. Btw, that tire skid was possible because it was probably front wheel drive. I have a 2010 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor

I own one with 56K on it. Engine has been great. Trans absolutely not.

8 speed tranny doesn’t seem to provide any noticeable difference in 0-60 time compared to the 6 speed.

Car and Driver recorded a 0-60 time of 6.8 seconds for the 2019 Edge Titanium AWD. The 2019 Edge FWD is probably slightly quicker due to the weight reduction. Those numbers are definitely quicker than the previous 0-60 times recorded for the 2015-18 Edges, which were usually in the 7 second range.

You’d have to compare this to the edge ST dude. The old edge had this 2.0T too so that’s just a straight unfair comparison you made.
