There are other bikes at this category that don't go 100mph, cheaper and will give you the same right skills to learn and have fun. Don't hate on this little bike for the lack of everything, it truly has a market in Latin america, Asia , India, and the like. Being here in the states, minimum you need 300ccs, but on the aforementioned places, speed, income and purpose play an important part on the reason for acquiring such a small and tame bike. Is legit, slow, also good to develop skills and set a foot on two wheels. definitely there's a market for this bike. Max speed on certain countries is 120 km/h , almost 72 miles/ h..

@@minyusun3907 most places I’ve driven the highest I’ve seen is like 70mph on the 417 in Florida, I’ve never heard of the speed limit here getting that high. Of course there are folks that tend to do 5 or even 10 over but at the end of the day, that bike can do those things quite well. I drive a 2003 Protege5 and she barely does 90 but rarely do I ever need to go that fast and I still enjoy the car a ton! When I get into the motorcycle game and I end up getting this Suzuki I’m probably going to have the same feeling for it. My requirements are: Is it fuel efficient? Is it stylish enough for me? Is it comfortable? Can it do 100mph if ever I need to go that fast? If yes to all then it’s a no brainer. I’m sure this bike feels faster than it actually goes, kinda like a Miata. It’s not a fast car but it FEELS fast and that’s what makes it fun

I don't think this bike is as bad as it sounds from this first ride. It has a small engine, and that's something some people prefer. You're comparing this 248cc to a 400cc on the Ninja 400 so of course it has less power. But it will get much better fuel economy at almost 80 mpg. That's a big selling point for some people. From an appearance perspective, I think this bike looks really clean and sharp... and the gauge display is nice for the class. For $4,600 it is not a bad option for somebody who doesn't speed.

Its just a conflicting design to me because they look good and fast but but theyre slow. Theyre actually fast for 250s. Also affordable. Its just odd to me when you do sportbikes with low displacement. What is the point ite like having a hot girlfriend but shes not all that capable but at the same time shes easy on the budget so i mean she looks good shes cheap, idk man. Cheap enough you could probablt do some gnarly stuff like turbo, nitrous, extended swingarm, and a laptop. Maybe its like a civic bro. Youll probably blow the engine but at least you went fast first

Anyone watching this video with a sense of inquiry should first check out the engine specs that these small bikes put out. A 250cc and a roughly 26 BHP Suzuki vs 40+ BHP bikes nearing 400 cc is a big divide! That Suzuki is meant for emerging markets, mostly ridden on congested roads by a much younger customer buying his/her first bike on a budget. It isn't meant for American highways! All the previous bikes that he has reviewed cost thrice as much in some of these targeted markets. So I might as well bring out the Suzuki B-King and crap all over the KTM, Kawasaki or whatever in the sub 500 cc class but then again how much am I being paid to troll?

To be honest, I feel you are extremely biased when you do these reviews. I have not ridden this particular bike but it seems you pretty much disliked everything, including things that are unreasonable, like the the top speed. I mean, 85 mph is NORMAL for a 250. What did you expect exactly? 150 mph? Then you rode the wrong bike. This bike is not meant for highways, it's meant for inner city rides and it's almost always a way to help new riders learn how to ride. You need to try to remain more biased with these reviews. What you said might actually be true, but the way you say it, sounds like you are biased. It seemed like you wouldnt like the bike before you started riding it. It seemed you wouldn't like the highway test, before you conduct the highway test. See what I mean? The point you are making about feeling uncomfortable while leaning or maneuvering the bike, I kinda feel you're right! The bike does seem a bit lazy.

I actually own this bike and bought it brand new 2018 model, it is my first bike and I chose it because I am preferable to Suzuki, though I did look into the other bikes, but for me with daily commute, this bike is plenty to zip around local roads. The weight is honestly reassuring for me and the brakes after wearing in do grip better, at first they were a little sloppy, but the gas tank is great that I can at times go up to two weeks before needing to refill and I have plenty of fun tossing the bike around and with the weight I like how I don't feel like I'm going to break the bike and my movements need to be deliberate, especially when it's windy the bike feels very planted. By no means is it perfect and I would never take the bike on a highway, to me it just doesn't seem like it's made for that, but I've held my own even when I've been out cruising with the local groups and some Harley's.

@jamesballard6564 wonderful thing too. Speaking of dropping. My bike did get damaged, and unlike most of the other bikes I believe in this category. The replacement parts are cheap, like super cheap. The adjustor winced when he saw that the faring was damaged, and then was laughing almost in tears when he told me that they would be replacing the whole left side of the bike and that the most expensive part was the damaged and bent kickstand that was slat double the price of the faring, and I think he said the faring was something like $30

I have the 2018 version of this bike and it appears to be the exact same as the one that you tested. This bike is definitely not as fast as the R3 or Ninja 300 that my friends owned. It is not made for the highway at all, 55 is okay but when the rate of traffic is going 70 you won't have any power to maneuver in the case of an emergency. Also on windy days or near semis you will feel like you are being pushed/sucked from your lane. The top speed that I have ever achieved is 87 MPH it was on a straight shot with no interference, the bike was redlined and vibrating the entire time which made my hands feel numb . With all of that being said, I learned how to ride comfortably on this bike, I have never really been one for having to go the fastest. When I was in California this bike was fine in town and I never had any problems. Currently I am looking into either getting a CBR 500, Ninja 400, or Ninja 650 so that I can use the bike for commuting on the interstate with the ability to move when I need it to. I appreciate the honest review, this bike was very useful for me over the last two years but I think that it is for a very specific user.
