I like what Honda did to the new Pilot! The front end really needed a new facelift, and I'm glad they decided to move the reverse lights up to the taillight area where they should be. Great video on the new Pilot! Keep up the good work!

I’m not a fan of the new design of the Pilot but this one looks better. I would at least blackout the front grill. I have the last gen design which I’m actually getting tired of. The one little thing that I think that is overlooked is how great that wide retractable door on the center console is. It’s like a little table/storage compartment. I sit full cup holders on that thing without any worry. What also surprised me was that I was able to fit inside with ease, a queen sized mattress with bed frame plus other stuff during a move. Not sure if this new Pilot has the same open space with all the seats folded down.

Just wanted to point out in the touring the 8 seats are standard and the captain/Bucket seats are additional 600 dollars. Great review

I’m a fan of the changes up front. I wish it looked a little less minivan-ish but overall, it’s such a great and functional vehicle. Nice job, Bernie!

For the touring and elite packages, the transmissions has been reprogrammed and is light years better than before.. some more details are,... - Honda sensing is standard on all models - the stereo system got a volume knob, which is huge IMO. - overall look of the vehicle is better as well, front end, rear and new 20" alloys for the touring/elite models; much better than previous years, IMO.

Looking good! I'm really liking the updated front and rear fascia on this refreshed 2019 model. The Pilot definitely looks "more up to date" with its competitors, and it seems like it will age pretty well over the years (like most Hondas do). As always, from one car reviewer to another, keep up the great work, Bernie!

I have a feeling dual exhaust will be back...maybe for the 2020 model. Seems like Honda is listening to their customers....hence the “volume knob”.

The Adaptive Cruise Control has to be used in order to use the cruise control? Can this feature be turned on/off? And what about the Automatic Emergency Braking, can this feature be turned on/off? Love Honda Automobiles.

Aryeh Rosenthal Hey! Yes, you can turn the function on and off very easily through the steering wheel by holding down that distance button. Hope that helps!

Aryeh Rosenthal Exactly! You'll then just press set like on a standard cruise and speed will stay at what ever you set it instead of changing.

Yep, when you use remote start it turns on the climate control depending on the outside temperature

Is it me or do Honda’s just seem soooo plastic inside? Even the top model screams cheap interior. Mazdas on the other hand look very luxurious

that's good.. you will find out it take years but it will happen..just be consistent, you will be glad you did and when you do ..your appearance at even an older age will look better than today's appearance.
