Idk why Jeep put chrome on a trim that is essentially a blacked out package. It’s drives me nuts seeing the chrome on my wife’s altitude gc. I’ve been too lazy to do this yet.

Love the color on that Jeep... looks pristine. I am trying to spray paint my rims and the grill myself but am very careful about it. The rivets are an issue as I broke plenty of them. You have to use the tool and your finger not to pull it out extremely hard. I reuse them as they are made very cheaply. At the same time, it is easy to reinstall the whole panel and grill.

Thanks for the video. Those first clips that you removed and broke are rivets, they are a one-time use sort of thing. We usually have a different style of clip that we would just replace them with, so it's okay to break them.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this but , when removing the plastic clips in wheel well behind the bumper any clips for that matter, if you push the center bits inward the entire clip comes out like butter. Hope that helps for future projects

The first this to do is turn your wheels in while taking of wheel well bolts and plastic rivets. Those have a little rodd in the middle, press the middle rivets in and they pull out easy.

2019 just like yours and everything was the same except my grill doesnt pop out, each of the individual rectangles are attached at the bottom to the rest of the grill by some tab I cant get to. Weird.

Looks good but in my own opinion I think the silver grill looks better make looks more newer all-black which makes it look like 2012 and older

Good video but the bumper doesn't just pop right off like the video portrays. The clips behind the grille and beneath the headlights were holding on so tight I thought there must be bolts behind the bumper the video didn't show! It was a lot of work to pop the bumper off.

Where did you buy your grill at?

If you drill out the plastic rivets they come out way easier. Then just get some from amazon 1/4 and they can be put back in for the under fender.

Always hated the divided grill/sectional look on grand Cherokee’s would look so much better just a solid piece all black grill without the dividers in there looks so cheap
