I just tried this today with some random ones that "fit" my year but unless I'm installing them wrong, they do technically fit they just don't fit completely? Idk how to explain but I can tell they aren't perfectly like centered into each slot.

Try vinyl wrapping the chrome trim black... works much better then plastidip
