Thanks for stopping by Bland. I don't particularly find the OEM seat ugly per se, but no doubt it is very uncomfortable which is even worst. As you saw in the video I found the Corbin seat very comfy. But they are somewhat expensive. Cheers and stay safe Bland. Dan.

Bonjour Michel. I bought the seat back in 2019 soon after I purchased the bike. I do not have the details anymore but I remember selecting the different options and placing my order through the regular Corbin seat web site. Then, as I live in Canada, my order got transferred to Corbin's Canadian distributor which I believe is in BC. I remember dealing with Mike and we emailed back and forth on a few occasions to confirm my order. I ended up paying something like $700 or so, including taxes and delivery. It came directly to my door. I remember it being a very seamless process with no hassle whatsoever. You should get it, it's worth it. Hope this helps. Dan

Hi Larry. The prices are in Canadian $$$. I could be wrong about the price in this video. I get nervous a bit when I do the video and I do not script anything. I just comes out :-) I did not keep the invoice so I can't remember the exact price. It's somewhere in that ballpark. With taxes, I think it came to somewhere between $700 and $750. I provided the price $600 before taxes as not every state and provinces are taxed to the same level. In Quebec we are the highest taxed people in North America :-( I think it was more than $600. Let's say it was $650. After taxes here in Quebec it would come to approx. $740 so it makes sense. But you can price it on their website. They have a tool for that if I remember correctly. Larry. Just found some emails related to my Corbin order. So here are the details. Might be useful to other people as well. The price in USD for that seat was $533 USD. In Canadian, it came to $735 + 5% they charged for GST. So came to about $770 Canadian altogether.

Thanks for the quick reply Dan. No worries on exact price! Adding to my confusion is the fact that $750 cdn isn't too far off from $600 usd... so I couldn't rule that out as a possibility. I'm just next door in Ontario so I feel your pain on taxes! In any event, I had ruled Corbin out based on $750 cdn price point... maybe I'll revisit if the pre tax price is closer to $600 cdn. Je vous tiendrai au courant de mon évaluation de ma future Versys. Je viens tout juste de vendre ma Triumph Tiger 800 XR 2016 et juste avant j’avais commencé avec une FZ-07. Bien hâte de l’avoir ;)

Avez-vous encore votre siège Corbin? Jer serais peut-être interessé car après 3/4 de route environ, mon derrière souffre un peu donc je dois régler ce problème avant que je commence à faire des longues run. Si vous l'avez encore, je serais interesser de l'acheter. Merci...
