How well does it take turns sharper than this? Also it only works if there’s a car Infront of it right?

@@caydn2 It can do a turn a bit sharper than that okay, but not too much more. It’s not comparable to something like Tesla autopilot unfortunately, and it will cut in and out without warning as well. It also does work without a car in front as long as it can see the lane markings. It will work on having a lead car, lane markings or both but only for speeds 60km/h and under.

@@CameronSmithAU thanks man! Pre ordered the 2021 Mazda 3 Turbo back in August....no other videos or sites explain or demonstrate the CTS, but I got to try it out once at a dealership...can’t wait

@@CameronSmithAU also one more thing, when it tells you to hold the steering wheel, can you just put 2 fingers on it for a second? I’m assuming that’s what the guy in this video is doing

@@caydn2 No worries - even with its shortcomings I'd still take it over a car that doesn't have it for sure; it definitely helps reduce fatigue in traffic. Hope you enjoy your new car - I'm jealous that we don't have the Turbo model here in Australia yet!

Thanks for the video! I was wondering how does the system works! Can we get more tutorial or longer videos with the steering wheel in the shot? :P Is is like an autonomous drive?

HI Cameron, thanks so much for this video i have been looking for it. May i ask you 1)wihtout turinig on this CTS funciton, and only with MRCC/LaneKeepAssist turned on, does it steering wheel still turn and move around mild road bends by itself like in your video? 2)Have you ever drive Mercedes with DistronicPlus (Steering Assist), is the Mazda one equivalent or better than it? Many thanks.

About the question 1: No, this is just a normal LKA action pattern. About the question 2: I haven't tried it.
