That paint shade is beautiful!

It's odd how much better the car looks in real life than in these videos. Especially when driving behind, either directly or from 3/4 rear position, it looks much more swoopy and rounded on the rear.

This is Mercedes biggest selling car, they are going to pay attention to every detail. Buy a used one and save on the depreciation from the first 2 years.

You can get a used Mercedes c class for around 25k. Gotta love depreciation. Mercedes depreciates so fast. I'd never buy a new Mercedes unless I'm leasing it.

I have no intention of buying any car like this, but Micah is so entertaining, I watched this review anyway. I did have a 2012 one of these, and the improvements are definitely much needed. Mercedes are a bit weird sometimes with that whole 'best or nothing' slogan. They say that and then make you pay $1600 for keyless entry. I got rid of mine because it didn't have xenon or LED headlights, and I'm rather picky about being able to see where I'm going at night.

I purchased a 2017 with night package with 15k miles just a shade under 30k. best money I ever spent. The torque curve on this engine is one of beauty. The in your seat feel when you hit at low rpm/speeds is something you usually only get out of a v8 engine. And you can get a tune for it to add 60 hp and 75 torque on top of all that! Driving my C5 z06 around (which has 400hp) I find myself wondering where my low end torque is at compared to when I'm driving the c300 around. crazy.

I’m a little surprised that you guys didn’t include the Tesla Model 3 in the list of alternative options since the base version (SR+, I’m not going to mention the odd menu SR configuration) has a similar price to the base C-Class.

i think the 3 series can be had for less and is more fun to drive. I had the C Class - the run flat doesnt work as advertised. I had to crawl on the highway shoulder in the dark of night due to lack of spare tire.

I feel like those are too small for the car. But they do have a nice design

My mother recently traded in her 2019 A4 for a 2019 C-Class, and personally I think the C-Class is a much better car than the A4. Both of the A4 and C-Class were all-equipped, and therefore had quite similar features... although I’ve gotta say, the C-Classes technology will never compete with the A4’s. Personally I’d buy an A4 cause I’m a very tech orientated person, but if you care about luxury and comfort, the C-Class has no competitor in its class!

Amazingly, Mercedes is managing to give itself an air of low-rent by optioning the kind of tech that ACTUAL low-renters are spec'd with by default, except the low-renters are all-round pretty bloody good by default now too. Mercedes has got a lot of soul searching to do.

And you get two dogs ? Subaru uzed to be more expensive than there competitors then prices came up and subaru stayed the same now they are the value option . With kias selling for high 30s to mid 40s the Mercedes is becoming more of a value . Especially if you can get one off a one year lease with low miles value s going to drop and get you a good deal. Ive always though the 300 was the best model with yhe current stuff they put in it . 6sec 0-60 and 34mpg todays tech is amazing nothing even close to that in the so called good old days . The engineering we take for granted now is amazing,yet we still complain. I mostly bitch about price cuz i want all this cool stuff and cant have it . Still watching kia stinger prices from you review a year ago ,coming down alot. Maybe 11 years from now ill get one (300).

Only problem with this C Class, which no one ever talks about, is the tinny, ticky, dieseley, irritating sound of the engine. It's like driving a 1979 diesel.

I drove one of these and the interior just feels cheap to me. Honestly it's better to get an older E-Class for the same money. The E-Class is truly remarkable. It feels so much more stable, and the ride is way smoother compared to the C.

I think I'll go for the volvo instead!

never buy this 300 serious. If you must have MB, consider E350 serious above. The 300 serious comes with cheap quality, noisy, uncomfortable ride, trouble uncomfortable rear seats, no power. the brand new one my friend had purchase in 2017 stopped in middle of freeway in less than 10 days and police had to stop the traffic in mid lane section of 405 Freeway, in 4 months the starter went bad, and in a year the battery went dead.
