I absolutely love this car and your review. I was hesitant to buy it for $144,397.00 but I did it and I am so glad I did. It’s a beautiful car and drives like a dream. I’ve had ZERO problems other then the normal maintenance. If you can afford it I highly recommend.

I've driven mine for a year now. I absolutely LOVE it! I should have bought it a lot sooner had I know that it would be this good! And with the AMG trim and 20 in wheels, they look stunning! Highly recommended!!

My 2011 S500 is completely reliable, although it is fully equipped with extra options. I was worried that things would need a lot of servicing, like seat motors and ventilation, or massage pumps or air suspension etc., but so far it has been completely reliable.

How long have you had it? How many miles?

I've had it since 2014, for the first few years it was owned by Mercedes-Benz themselves, probably for show, or some manager for example, in Germany. When I bought it it had 115tkm ~ 71tm, now it has 156tkm ~ 97tm. I've driven it mostly in a big city.

I HAVE A 2013 S550 AND I LOVE MY CAR. ONCE YOU DRIVE AN S CLASS ALL OTHER CARS JUST DONT COMPARE. IM AN S CLASS DRIVER FOR LIFE. THIS WILL ALWAYS BE MY FAV CAR

I'd spring for the S class all day long and if price was a little less concerning, I'd go for the Maybach S650.

I would buy a S class in a heart beat but because the new car at nearly $144K is quite expensive i would consider a good certified used car for half the price.

Great review!! FYI I just picked up a CPO 18’ that was purchased in nov 18’ purchased the 2 year extended warranty past standard 5 years unlimited miles for 5k it’s covered bumper to bumper until Nov 2025 I’m a road warrior so it will have around 350k+ miles when the warranty is over.

Excellent review, thank you. About the night vision, you stated it tracks people and animals…. and does what ? Do I just get a black and white tv on the display? Does it just display both or if an animal runs across the road, will the car emergency brake to avoid collision ?

Really enjoyed your video, you communicated the details of the S Class perfectly. Would of liked to have heard more about the interior options. I agree with your statement better to lease than own. The S Class for the US market is made in Mexico, not all parts are original MB parts but sourced from company's that have a comparable part in regards to function. European delivery is an option although cost could be imperative for some buyers. What do you use for audio ? Your voice is distinctly appealing. Do you have audio going through a studio mixer. S class for US market made in Mexico? How sure are you of that please? I would be truly surprised if that were true.

@@userdjee834 Mexico North America Mercedes-Benz Mexico fully manufactures some Mercedes and Daimler vehicles completely from locally built parts (C-Class, E-Class, M-Class, International trucks, Axor, Atego, and Mercedes Buses), manufactures other models in complete knock down kits (CL-Class, CLK-Class, SL-Class, SLK-Class) and manufactures a select number of models in semi knockdown kits which use both imported components and locally sourced Mexican components (S-Class, CLS-Class, R-Class, GL-Class, Sprinter).

The s class for the us market is built in Germany, and also there isn't a single s class built in Mexico. They are either built in Germany, India, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.

In April 2022 I test drove a 2019 Mercedes best 560 and I’m sorry to say that I felt every bump crack and other imperfection on the road. I don’t know what is the hype about its great suspension. It honestly did not feel any different from my existing 2018 Toyota Camry, in terms of the smoothness of the ride on those road imperfections.

Those wheels are the most boring alloys I've ever seen. The only bad point to a beautiful car. If you want to be driven, take the saloon. If you want to drive, send for the coupe. And in both, demand AMG.
