Thanks for the video! I just bought a 2016 Versa Note SV and my fuel economy and range are very similar at 30mpg/~250miles in Phoenix AZ, mix of city and highway. Frankly, it's disappointing. My former car, a Scion TC, got 28mpg/~330miles consistently, had 50 more HP and was a bigger car. I expected the Versa to be in the mid thirties and from what I've seen on the internet, few people are getting that and if they claim they are, I'll bet they are not using your technique (the correct way, BTW) and just reading the Versa's inaccurate trip computer. 39mpg EPA. Riiight and I've got some ocean front property to sell ya!

Thank you for sharing your feedback. The fuel economy on the Scion TC sounds pretty impressive! Too bad they discontinued it instead of adding it to the Toyota line-up as a "Corolla Coupe".

Owner of a 2019 versa note, I'm averaging hwy 38-45 mpg at 65 mph (over 20 mile drives) and city 35-37 mpg 35-45 mph. (( have discovered though as long as speeds stay constant mpg overall will improve )).

Hi how are things? Would you recommend that vehicle or any other for fuel saving reasons? I am thinking of buying a 2019 Nissan Note Versa SV.

The fuel tank capacity of versa note is 10.8 gal instead of 9 according to my search result from google, so I'm really wondering which one is correct since I just bought a used versa note and I feel like I have to fill up this car for every 200 miles, I'm really wondering if there is something wrong with my car or just because the fuel tank is actually smaller than it should be .and it shows my MPG is 33-34.5 no matter it is true or not ,it really feels like a whole 100 miles gone for my every single fill-up.

You should redo this test eventually. Winter weather and the car wasnt broken in considering it was brand new car. Just a thought

i have 2017 versa note SR. i get 5.5L/100km, my wife gets 5.9L/100km(AC always on), this is in summer time and almost all highway oh and the car usually has a stroller 2 kids seats and my 2 kids, my wife and i in it!! also i will admit i drive very mindfully of the fuel economy

david4ling That's really good! These new cars get such great gas milage. I took a trip with my new Nissan Rogue. 5 full adults in the car and I was able to get 6.6 L/100 km of highway driving @ 110 km/h. My 15 year old Altima is a gas hog compared to the Rogue

I test drive this car today, power delivery is the selling point, torque is perfect for city. Fuel my 1.5 Mazda gets similar, so this car isn’t about fuel, get a Prius otherwise. It’s about moving along with no effort from a stop. Engine should in theory last longer than a conventional engine as its running in its desired rev range.

The Mirage is a smaller car. I would say the Mirage is more comparable to the Hyundai Accent or Toyota Yaris.

@2:20 WTF?? $30.60 to fill up the tank?? and it wasn't even on dead empty. Screw that. My Honda Fit has been dead empty on fuel and the most I've ever paid to fill it up completely was $18 bucks. Literally!! A complete tank of gas allows me to drive 340 miles.
@FuelEconomyTest6 жыл бұрын
Our fuel prices are much higher and the Canadian currency is weaker than the US Dollar. For a more accurate estimate, please take your local fuel rate and multiply it by the fuel tank capacity.
