This week I'm reviewing the new 2019 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS. This is Triumph's latest version of their modern sports naked motorcycle and the 765 RS is the range topping model.

Re. Downshifts, the RS has an UPshifter only. You need to use the clutch to downshift. No wonder the bike was complaining, lol.

Haha! Cheers, I only discovered this afterwards!!! At least it shows that most of my downshifts were well matched with revs ;)

Thanks for the review, I own a street 675 and looking to upgrade to a 765. I added a small screen shield to the front, it takes a lot of the buffering out of the ride. Which leads me to ask, what microphone or lapel mic did you use? Didn't hear any buffering even without a front screen. Tks

Thanks for the info. Yes for a naked bike I was surprised how little buffeting there was (only bettered by the MV Augusta I rode where there was even less). I use a Shoei full face helmet with Drift Ghost X mounted on the side and the Drift external microphone mounted inside the helmet with an extra mic cover.
