@sykwookiee
@sykwookiee 4 жыл бұрын
@@Tinker.Studio you just might be lucky brudda...when I was a youngin' my mom would bake a cake for new neighbors...when I was 20ish, I did the same...when the 90s rolled through, I was raising my kids to do the same...in the early 2000s, little "wannabe" thugs(juggalos n shit) were tryin' to bring "thuggish assitudes" to the suburbs...when 911 happened, some of the kids(like my son) decided to join the military to protect our country and others in their countries...now, the kids coming up want free everything(not all)...when I moved to N.C. in 2k4, the neighbors on one side were a Vietnam era Army sniper and his wife and o the other side, a young couple with 2 boys and his mama lived behind them in a small cabin...the dad was a decent man who worked his ass off and his wife was a nurse...their boys rode 4 wheelers and used to kick rocks into our yard and after several times of calmly talking to their mother about it(and no stopping of the behaviour), I constructed a 6ft. privacy fence...the dad saw me one day and came over and asked why the fence? I thought he was being a smart ass, and I told him this...it turns out that his wife never told him about the situation...I heard the boys both get their asses tore up and figured that would be the end of it...next day, one of the boys came over to apologize to me and asked what he could do to make amends...I told him that I needed help eating some ice cream cones....he readily agreed that there was entirely too many ice cream cones and that we must devour them post haste...his brother who refused to come apologize because his mother said that they had done nothing wrong, said that he would never apologize no matter how many ice cream cones there were...he ended up living in his parents house(they both died young) and decided that he hadn't been enough of a prick when he was little, and he tried me on as an adult...he would throw rocks at the fence and damage it...one day I was outback running my dog(I'm disabled and I used a wheelchair) and a decent sized rock came flying over the fence really close to me and the pooch...I hollered wth are you throwing f'n rocks for? I'm playing with my dog was his response...I told him to knock it off and thought it was over...he said something really low and I said speak up, your daddy taught you not to be rude...so the little punk threatens to "kick my ass"...I ran my chair to the edge of the fence and told him come closer so that I don't have to crawl after you...he retreated, mumbling about how it's not fair(he's f'n 27), I just smiled and said that I know it wasn't fair to him...in direct contrast was the sniper and his wife on the other side...people whom I met because my son asked who the next door neighbor was and I answered that I didn't know....my wife and I had a small gift shop and we were quite busy day it...my son came home on leave from Iraq and went over, introduced himself and drug the poor guy over to meet me because "we had so much in common"...he came up with the same kind of mom and apologized profusely for being so rude...I said no worries and he was a great friend until he passed last winter...sometimes you can really avoid a pos, as 1/2 of the couple of one side of us, or, if you don't reach out, you could really miss out on someone like the sniper next door, I never felt safer even though my wife and I are trained and armed...hoorah, đã wõõķìëë...

I have a 2014 Tundra, love it and you’ll love yours. I started with a 2006 tacoma and ran it for 150,000 miles with a total repair bill of $972. I traded in 2015 for the Tundra, currently have 93,400 miles and a grand total of $277 worth of repairs. These don’t include maintenance or tire cost just repairs!!! Great vehicles. Love the flatbed and camper!! I run a tow behind. Thanks for showing us this. You made a great choice.

I bought a 2000 4WD Tundra, which was their first year in production, when I lived in Vegas. I owned 40 acres of off-grid, remote land at 5,500 feet in the Cottonwood Mountains that I went to every weekend and holiday. I used the HELL out of this truck, and besides regular maintenance, (including 100K timing belt and water pump replacements), my only real "repair" cost was for replacing a rear leaf spring that I damaged by carrying 1,500 lbs. of CMU block up 1,500 feet of rugged road. I traded it in 15 years later, with over 200,000 miles on it and it still had another good 200K worth of dependable use out of it. I thought about buying a new Tundra, but couldn't bring myself to spend $55,000.

A large carnation creamer plastic container is great for dedicating in! It has a strong screw on lid that’s large enough for those massive rv type dumps. Two people can easy use this container. The container has a built in handle making it possible for throwing great distances! The container is strong so you can bury it like a time capsule. Makes a nice surprise for treasure seekers! I give it a five star rating.

Anyone that hasn’t had children yet. If you aren’t exactly sure about parent hood, give yourself a year or 2 to explore those other things you might enjoy. I came from a time when my classmates graduated in May, and married in June. I truly didn’t even know how to think for myself. Learn at least that skill before attempting to influence other humans that 100% depend on you, THEN when you DO have children, you will be an awesome parent because you helped get yourself into adulthood lol. I’m just watching this youngish couple experiencing our beautiful country, and all they gotta do is keep each other alive, the cat, and make memories. 💟💜💟

@Rick Smith, I hear what you're saying, but there is a lot of psychology involved when a person makes such a bold move, and it is totally personal. I was raised dirt poor. Like, no shoes in the summertime poor. I have worked extremely hard to proudly proclaim a lower middle class socio economic lifestyle. I know have money in the bank. So, for me, personally, I would have to have indispensable cash, on hand and available, at all times, before I could take a plunge like they have. But hey, I am in absolute awe of folks who can just do it, with little to no money.

I’m definitely doing the rough sketch version and finalizing things as the usage of the space becomes clearer. I'd love to see the truck build. Process, a vlog while on a trip. I'm very interested . My wife and i have been longing to do something like you all are doing. And I certainly agree with you .we are only here on this earth for a short period of time. One of our most fond memories that we share together as a couple is when we took a trip to Alaska she's from California I'm from Texas this was completely out of my wheelhouse and the most memorable trip of my life and every since that trip the open road has been calling us. Thanks guy's

definetly go for a nice diesel if you want to do a build like this. youll get much much better fuel mileage. my 5.7 tundra got 13mpg empty. i couldnt imagine 35s with a big sail on top. but to each their own! good luck hope it all works out

Great rig! Still scratching my head about the 4 cylinder toy truck. I’m a General Contractor so all tools must have MORE POWER! I have a Tundra, newly retired and this is perfect for me and my 7 tiny dogs who love hitting the trails. Thanks for sharing.

I think the biggest takeaway in this video was from 2:54 - 3:20 . I do mechanic and technician work on RV's ( primarily motorhomes ) and I have seen especially in the last 4-5 years with the "movement" of road living and simplifying where there are people purchasing these old unique looking vehicles who invest a ton of time and money into the project and never end up actually getting out because it just becomes a money pit. Or when they do, they break down like mentioned in the video, or they will actually get it fully fixed up how they want and realize that something like a 1964 Dodge Travco ( recent coach I dealt with ) is a really neat looking vehicle, but was built at a time when the max highway speeds were probably 20 MPH lower than what they are now, so not having something like overdrive, or a lack of a lot of other modern features/conveniences, all of the sudden makes for a very difficult ride. If your timeframe is to get out in 3-5 years, maybe look at a older project, but if you're looking to get out in the next 6-12 months, at least consider trying using something more modern and already available to see if the lifestyle and that sort of RV even works for you. Much easier to get in/out of something that's fully functional.

@@ThePassportPapi No, a toyota Tundra which they bought new (crazy already) is 45k plus 30k for the camper, plus tons of modifications such as winch, rear lock differential, lights, custom cabinetry, variable tire pressure, snorkle air intake, custom wheels and tires, etc etc, they have definitely spent 100k

Since it is there home, it's definitely a lot smarter, in the city, just to live comfortably you need to take at least a 350k loan. And, that's only down payment compared to the major cities. More power to them, I'm good with a tent, not my choice ;)

After he stole their gas tanks and propane, then he came back for the trailer truck, but dumped it because it had no toilet only a shower which wet the cushions under which medical supplies were stored, then the water tank blew and ruined all the electronics so carefully stored nearby.
