I have a 2019 CRF450L. I put a FMF exhaust on it, vortex ECU set on the highest setting, eliminated smog, and installed the fender eliminator kit. I wonder how it compares to your bike.

I’ve been wanting a husky 701 for years. Just picked up a 2013 yz450f because I could actually afford it without payments. Never looking back! I wish I made this decision years ago!

Super cool that it has a smart phone tuner app. I did not know such thing exist.

I would buy an Exclusive HUSKy 701, same power to weight ratio as the Yamaha but the engine is less stressed so more reliable. Plus no worries about higher maintenance with hours vs miles, no new piston or head inspection. 701 ready to go. The Yamahas warrant maybe voided by adding all the electrical aftermarket stuff. Warranty companies are real sticklers with mods not done by factory technicians during factory warranty period.

That super moto is the bomb Cruza! Would it be to much to ask . What is the final cost of that 450 after the conversion ? Enjoying the videos and we will be watching.

Aight dood. You sold me. Imma HAVE to do this with a Yammie 450. I was considering the Aprilia SXV 550 - but again - same deal w/ the engine rebuilds #1 - PLUS there are SOO FEW parts left to even get for those bikes, & only a handful (like 2) guys who do the rebuilds well & in a way that you can count on. I may just end up finding one thats bombed TF out & tide the thing up the stairway to heaven & once she's done & buried as a gasser - convert it to electric or smtn. I'm convinced that Aprilia will be one BEAST of an electric conversion. Knowing you've has succcess riding the shit out of yours w/o having to rebuild the fkr every 8 hours or so gives me a TON of hope. How many hours you think you got on it?!? I'm fkn doin; it. In Australia WR 450 is the most popular bike. At the moment I am still not decided will I go for it ( and get rid of my R1 ) or wait for Yamaha to produce baby Tenere ...... For 450 they recommend cush drive ( rubber blocks ) to save rear axel from wearing out - especially if bike is driven on the road a lot..... Thanks for posting.....

Yo cycle man just listening to your videos you really reminde me of one of my freinds, feels like i know you and would of liked to have you as a freind abd ride with you. For your valves atleast check them twice a year, my valves on my wr450 went out of spec and i blew the motor it blew to peice the valve broke and hit the piston, piston blew to peices and grenaded the whole engine. Now i can only ride my drz400 wich i love and is bulletproof but not as fun in the woods.

CycleCruza, I have the same bike with the same dual sport kit. I have a 35W headlight and my voltage is running about 11.6 volts with engine running. I am using the same Anti-gravity battery you have which should be charging over 13.2 volts. Is your bike charging over 13 volts with the LED headlight. I am hooked up to a small running light for now and my voltage is 13.8 when riding..

Why it needs to change the engine oil after 3times ride? Dont it should follow the normal interval? Interested with this bike for daily work commuting consists of 100km, if its need to change the engine oil regularly, then I need to looking into another something dat require long interval.

250, for a person begining on a supermoto or a dual sport I would recommend even lower, something like a 125 since those things have slot of torque

A few months ago, I gave up on buying a 3rd bike, and then my brother told me I should build my credit up a bit before we buy our house together. So now, I'm back to deciding a 3rd bike and financing one for it, I can't decide on either a +2019 Husqvarna 701 SM, or a tarded WR250R. I would love the 701, but being a European bike, it's not as reliable but a friend told me to stay away from the 2015-16, and I should be fine since Husky put a better engine on it since 2017. A tarded WR250R will be a definite keep, and even better if my brother decides to buy it from me to have it as his first supermoto after I'm done financing it and I will sell it to him cheaper than Craig's List. If I decide on the 701 SM, and never had engine failures on me, then I will definitely keep it, and it will be the best bike I've ever owned. It's going to be a leap of faith for this bike. So, what do you think, CC? Or anyone who can pitch in for opinions? Other possible candidates are the Dorsoduro 900 or the Hypermotard 950, but the insurance rates of those two are turn offs. I already own a DRZ400SM and SV650.

He’s right though... before anyone laughs at a supermoto - try it... My Wr450f is more fun than any of my other bikes, so nimble, tons of torque, 2nd/3rd gear throws the front wheel to 12 o’clock with no clutch, no questions asked.. 5th gear power wheelies any day of the week. And if you have a good twisty road with no long straights and you know how to ride, a 230kg 130hp 600 super sport isn’t going to keep up with the 120kg, 60hp that is MUCH quicker around bends... Supermoto is life!

Hope ya changed the chain when you changed the rear sprocket because ive also just changed my rear wheel to a warp 9 and the sprocket was very weak and lasted 1000miles before it shat itself, dont make my mistakes haha

I think you are changing the oil too often for street use. Get a sample analyzed and see what they recommend for a oil change interval. I’ve used Blackstone Laboratories for years for my oil sampling analysis.

The valves will be good for at least 200 hours. I have an 06 wr450f that has aver 500 hours on it and the valves have never moved.

Yo CC, I don't like your front fender, to small, and change your back number plastics to black. Get a black front fender and put the supercross monster energy graphics. And get sliders. Have to have sliders to run on the track anyway. Monster Energy graphics would look proper and sick!

Valve adjustments are overrated and usually a waste of money. 51 000 miles on my gixxer never needed valves down.If it doesn't have trouble starting or have hp loss your fine
