i can draw alright if i start with pencil and use construction lines but since i started watching these streams ive been trying to just start with the pen. its a whole different world. its like riding a motorcycle without a helmet. i have found a new level of respect for KJG. being able to visualize so much detail before you put pen to paper is amazing. terada and many other great artists are the same way. i think it would take me YEARS of practicing without construction just to get up to my own skill level with it, let alone anywhere near the level of these guys.

i find it easier and more expressive with pen because you can use angle and weird shapes instead of trying to use a eraser and ruler and get everything perfect

When they invent pen eraser then you will find your helmet, dont worry.

I love how he can create beautiful lines with any pen. No pencil, no scale, everything happens like a painting, magically.

@@alihassan4060 But why tho... art is not some kind of race or competition. Why do you make art? For someone else to say you are good? Or for yourself and your own satisfaction? I understand that it may be overwhelming that someone else was so good while being young, but remember, you can also be good one day if you just keep doing your art. Does not matter if you are good at 17 or in your 70s : p

What did you expect , it's obvioius that he was talented from a verry young age Practice will get you far , but without talent you will never reach his level All of you are such in awe of his great skills , there are a lot of talented artists and most of them already made exquisit work when they were young

Foi um excepcional artista, porém, ao desenhar sem esboços preliminares, ele pecava na anatomia humana e sua arte ficava com um estilo mais Cartunesco. Mas o cara era Foda!
