well I am off the opinion that we need to introduce as many women into the sport as we can, this is the perfect place for women to reclaim their sense of exploration and adventure. On the other hand, I am being cautious because what if a lot of girls end up expecting me to take them hunting, like I don't know if I could get that many deer, from all of the places I know. This year was a tragedy, we just had my tags and my dad's tags, and I passed over so many deer out of sheer laziness and foresight that I may tag out earlier than wanted, so we are allowed 6 deer, between us, and we ended the season with 5, the one buck tag, I saved till the last hour for that one nice buck but ... no luck, that last day, I saw 14 deer and only one buck, a pointer and I just couldn't see him through my rifle scope, he was standing 50 yards from the truck, broadside, but he was behind some brush, like a thin sheet of leaves, underneath some old handing tree branches, just dangling down covering as if like a canopy, I just remember having to switch between my binos to confirm he is still there and then struggle to set my scope on him and then switch back and forth for like 3 minutes, it would have been 5 seconds, had he was a bit open and uncovered but he stood there, next to 2 whitetailed does... ultimately, he stepped in, and when I went after him, he would just drive me in deeper, one 30 foot leap at a time, and then would stand still and watch me trying to find him again and as soon I did, he would just go out for another 50 feet and just stand and watch me approach... for 15 minutes, it was magical... something I had never experience before ..ever. because whitetails just run off, like I am out of here man,... what a great day... had all of our usual crew managed to get together once again, but the virus, damn it, we would have the usual 15 to 17 for the group, we usually get more but there are times, when you are just exhausted and you don't want to pose for a photo, so you just load up and head out...
