Great car, I've driven the original Atom bur was always paranoid about crash protection. This solves that problem.

Looks fantastic to me. Hits nail on the head - how the car makes you feel rather than hyper car outright speed. More relevant especially these days!

Well if I did have enough money to buy a Nomad, and I really wish I did, then I think I would still go for the standard one, just for the possibility that one day I could take it off road somewhere

I hope the next generation of Ariel is just one car. It should use an evolution of this chassis. One for road use and one for off road use. This is too special to not be produced in higher numbers.

Don't crash it then. That's the thing with light cars, they're much more agile so you can avoid having the accident in the first place. Also with the full cage and wearing a helmet you can minimise risk. Ultimately as per the case with Caterhams too if you're after safety as a primary then buy a tank.
