Note there is no resonator on this and it has a bold sound from outside the truck.

Crazy how far we have come, my 2003 5.3 vortec makes the same HP but 20 lb ft more torque. This is a nice truck, I'd take it when the time comes.

How’s this drive compared to 2.7? I’m not sure which one to buy? On the fence with the 2.7 turbo longevity but gas mileage seems impressive and towing.

I love the 2.7L Turbo to be a bit better than the V6. The low-down torque is amazing and it is a much better truck to drive around town. Although the motor is relatively new, I have not heard any horror stories about reliability and every single one I have driven I have loved. The V6 is a bit more common and easier to find on lots, but I would go with the V6. Definitely drive both engines if possible to figure out what is right for you, but the 2.7L is a wonderful motor.

I have the 2021 Chevy Silverado custom. 4.3 v6 , when it is parked and when I'm stopped while in Drive I feel a vibration. Does your truck do the same thing?

Yes mine vibrates a little also. Only 1000 miles on it. Did it from new. Only when stopped.

I sometimes feel a little lope at an idle but since it’s not throwing a code it’s probably just normal operation. Every machine has it’s own quirks.
