This 2020 Silverado 1500 WT comes in northsky blue metallic on jet black vinyl seating. Standard features on this truck include bluetooth audio and backup camera. It is equipped with the 4.3L V6 engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission that puts out 285 HP.

I have this truck in white. You just can't go wrong for a basic truck. v6 is perfectly adequate and the payload is excellent too.

I have owned 3 of them buying my 4 th one next month. Haul heavy floor equipment. Just wish load height would be closer to the ground.

I have a 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 work truck Long bed, color white, completely basic, crank roll up windows, vinyl flooring, Cost a couple dollars for a basic key, that's right no fob or key chip, just a good old fashioned metal key. The ignition is so worn out the key just comes out of the ignition even when it's on. Nowadays you couldn't do that with more modern trucks. 4.8 liter engine with almost 194,000 miles, bought it 3 years ago, used to be a motorcycle hauler at a dealership, then had 168,000 miles paid almost $2400, since then it's been a great truck. By next year it will be considered a Classic at 20 years. Good old Chevrolet !

Got my 2020 Silverado 1500 WT 4.3L Vortec V6 during Covid sale event for $24,500. Sounds just like my old 2013 V8 Avalanche I would say it is even just as fast and engine sounds just as throaty. Don’t forget, in your options you can turn your automatic window drop on and wind your windows down with 2 clicks (hold) and reel your windows down standing outside. It is a nice hidden feature

You got a great deal on your 2020 WT. I paid 24,500 for a left over 2015 WT back in September of 2015. I'm at 53,000 on my 4.3 V6 and not one issue with the engine. I like a regular cab truck 2 WD V6.

Good day from Ont. Yea at 45 m/hr, I think engine is running around 1200. My 2013 4-3 gets best gas mileage at 45mph, remember here in Ont speed limit is 50 mph. So it fits right in even though some people passing me say I.m #1 with middle finger Thanks

1:26 I have a 2015 WT V6. You see that speedo goes to 140. I swear it would do 140 if the speed control wouldn't stop it all around 103 or 107. You get this thing about to about 80 or 90 and floor it , it will downshift and take off.

Perfect for someone who is on a budget but also wants a truck with basic amenities and tech that works and is comfortable… throw some better wheels on it and you got yourself a pretty nice truck actually

I'm still in love with this truck I like watching this video every ounce in a while I'm almost 14 and I'll start working when I'm 15 so I'll have enough money for this when I'm 20 and a half if I don't spend any money but the thing that sucks is that when I'm 20 and a half they won't be making this bodystyle anymore and unless I like the new one then I'm gonna have to buy an old one and then I gotta worry about finding one that hasn't been used as a Work Truck so it's still nice and finding one with the right options but anyways yeah hopefully it all works out !

I had that Chevy shake then it disappeared when I bought new winter tires and insisted they properly balance all of the tires.

The engine will. It's the OHV 4.3 leading all the way back to the 80s. Which with basic maintenance will run almost forever.

@@NerdyHillbilly This engine shares nothing in common with the old 4.3L, other than the displacement. It is aluminum block, aluminum heads, and all of the Gen 5 small block tech. Including the AFM. The AFM will likely fuck up at some point, just like it does on the V8s.

It's like the 305 was the worst motor that chevy ever put in the truck...trust me I had a 82 Silverado with that...no power...I put a 350 in it....that was the best

4.3 is good in the s10 trucks..not for the Silverado..

This is an entirely different engine, the only thing similar is the engine displacement.

I wish Chevy would not have named this new since 2014 V6 a 4.3. It causes confusion. I had a Silverado 2003 4.3 5 speed manual and it was dog for speed and power. Now I have a 2015 V6 4.3. Its a completely different engine. I now have plenty of power at 285 HP and average of 21 MPG. I swear it will do the whole speedo at 140 , the problem is the speed limiter kicks in between 103 and 110. LOL

@@samuelclark2434 .I still like to have a bigger motor inside that truck.....the reason why...back in 98 when I bought my s10 truck...they had 4 cilder...I got one with a 4.3 In the small trucks or suv like blazer or gmc jimmy...they are good...but not in a full size truck like that....in one year of the 98 s10 trucks..this guy told me...it lost power..ac..all of that....if I get one..it's going to have the big motor in the work truck...especially that price am going to pay.......

@@martycarter3306 I would get the v8 too I have a 2012 gmc with the 5.3, it has all the power I'll ever need, but it is impressive how much power those v6s make now, my 2012 makes 315hp and the new 4.3s make 285, for someone not hauling a lot it will be plenty of power. I've also had two s10s with the 4.3 a 92 s10 blazer and 98 s10 pickup 2wd. They are a reliable motor.

These new v6 is total different design not the same as old v6 old v6 was 190 horespower new v6 is 285 horespower big difference

I have a 2014 with the same engine trans combo. So far (knock on wood) it has been more than adequate for a basic truck. The LS based 4.3 is power wise equal to the now discontinued 4.8 and is surprisingly quiet and smooth compared to the durable but noisy and much lower HP 350 vortec based 4.3. It does have some of the "Chevy shake" driving about 50MPH in drive under light acceleration which can be eliminated by using the manual 5th gear to turn off V4 mode under those conditions
