I bought a new Chevrolet Spark bifuel in 2011 and drove and still drive for about 185.000 km and still running and never had issues with the car. I like it and it is the best car I have ever owned. It has a 1.0 liter engine with 65 hp and runs on petrol and LPG. I really want a new Spark but in the Netherlands I cannot buy a Spark anymore because they stopped selling them in my country. My Spark is still running strong but i really want Chevrolet to reconsidder there decission and start to sell them again in my country because there is a great demand for small and affordable cars in my country. The only Chevy's sold in my country are the Corvette and Camaro. As said the Spark is a solid car that keeps running. The only time it sees the workshop is for maintenance or new tyres. Come on chevrolet we need small cars.

Just bought one today. Not happy about the non electric Windows and locks but hey...I bought my first car for $9k. Can’t wait to keep it for a while!!

@@henryhill6637 same here no issues. My wife has an Elentra 2019 and she keep on having weird issues with her car. She's always taking my Spark when I dont need it 😂

I got a Spark as a rental 2 weeks ago, it was exactly what I needed and so solid. I thought it was so solid cause it was new But it had 50,000 miles on it. I would definitely buy one if I ever bought another car. I use a electric Unicycle but a heater would be nice here in Michigan.

I fucking love my 2017. Perfectly reliable, less than zero mechanical issues. Manual LS. Accelerates great, highway speed has high RPMs at 3500 at 75mph. Cupholders are too small and shitty. I have to use the passenger one to get my cup from behind the shifter. Sunvisors are fucking useless sideways. Too small. You have to take the headrests off the backseats and slide the front seats forward to lay them down. I took mine out since i live alone and have a huge trunk. Trailer hitches and plug in wiring harnesses are made for this, and it tows a thousand pounds of trailer comfortably. Stopped reading my ipod after intermittent reading. A 15 dollar chinese one works great, and has 16 mb instead of 8. I got an aftermarket cruise control installed, works great. The dipshits installed it too low and if i don't pay attention I'll bash the stalk off with my knee. Don't let someone wave you off and say they'll make it perfect. Yeah, you know how far you had to slide the seat back to drive the fucking thing into the shop? How about you remember that and install it according to MY dimensions numbnuts? Best car I've ever had.

The one to get is the base manual model. With dealer discounts and incentives I’ve seen some sell for barely 10 grand. The manual will return better mpg be more engaging to drive and less longer. Avoid the option sheet, and stay bare bones, these make great inexpensive new cars. I decided on a 4 year old Scion Manual with 30k, I plan a good 15 plus years with my cars and wanted the most reliable long car I could get for just over 10 grand, but the Sparks and Mirage were serious considerations for 10k. Grab a 19 silly cheap.

I was interested in buying the the spark next year, but am waiting for the 2020 model to come out. I didn't notice any changes from the 2019. Are there any?

Ok, thanks. I saw on the GM site the new models won't be coming out till around '22/'23. I'll get it next new, then maybe trade it in when the new ones come out. Can't wait. 😊

I really admire the vehicle's appearance. However, I question its reliability. Regardless how well one takes care of it, how many miles will it last before encountering any serious mechanical issues? 🤔

How much sturdy it is? How much passenger/ driver is safe after Accident ? Is it solid enough to handle an accident? Is it safe to drive 100 miles a day on busy bay area traffic

Its sturdy! It does have good safety ratings and I have had a customer come out completely unharmed and ended up getting another one. Definitely a great and safe driver for busy traffic.

They are reliable as shit. Not a ONE thing has gone wrong on mine, and the dealer mechanic i asked said a lady has a 100K miler that hasn't had any real failures either.

You can set the speed while driving and that speed will remain constant without you having to put foot on the gas.

Aequitas well, I find that my 4 cylinder has just enough power. I couldn’t handle any less. I have a 2017 and I live in the mountains so I need the extra bit of power the 4 cylinder would has over the 3 cylinder.

I’d get the Mirage. 50 plus mpg easily highway and much better warranty. They seem to hold up better too. Best 10 grand new car out there. Always get manual I’m these types of cars. Key.

It's a smaller car! Great fuel economy which is a park. I've seen people get 40 MPG. Cheap it fill up.

I agree. You need something that is at least 3500 pounds. A good weight for a new driver would be 4500 pounds.

This car sucks me and my friends missed a party because the car we were following to the party was too fast for the spark my friend was shifting the stick trying to get as fast as possible but we got lost by a bmw driving at medium speed on the highway 😂
