Darren Cottrell Thank you very much, even if I do look like I’m wearing my mums clothes 😅 think I needed a size smaller in everything. I wasn’t sure on the wood to start with but I really did grow on me. Normally not a fan of light headlining but the whole car was so bright and airy!

Great video but I wouldn't expect any less from you now - Smashing it! I've never been a fan of Citreon and this definitely hasn't changed my opinion... Not a fan of that interior lol

The good thing with that auto box is that it is a Japanese Aisin torque converter transmission , so it should be reliable.

@@AutoSocialUK Wasn’t hardcore enough to go for the wood interior haha. Standard on that. Shine Plus 83 Platinum Grey, its got the connected cam and all the other stuff too. Black roof too. :)

Citroens have always been a "bit quirky," and really appealed to such a limited niche here in the US that they haven't been sold here in decades. Still, I find it an interesting brand, and I liked your review. That charming accent always helps!

@@AutoSocialUK Its been rumored for years that Peugeot may come back. But no luck so far. Mt late Dad owned Peugeot in South Africa (we emigrated to the US).

Great review as always :) It's a nice looking car on the outside, but the seats don't really do it for me with the different colour plonked on top. If they were the one colour, they'd be grand. The wood looks ok, but might look better on a lighter dash or even in a lighter interior.

I agree! I'm very unsettled by the seats haha! Look like they designed them and then, last minute, someone said "oh! we should try this"

@@DylansCarReviews Yeah but have you heard of car seat covers and this car looks massively better than the oh so boring, dreary and dull volkswagern polo and ford fiesta which has weird proportions with its bulbous arse.

@@petar_d488 Petre, uste cekame... Naracano e vo pocetokot na fevruari, nesto kao produkcijata docni. Se nervirame mnogu. Ne znam dali mozam da gi tuzam i kade da se obratam za sovet. A ako ti se otkazes, go gubis kaparot od 500 eur. Se razvlecka celata rabota... se nadevame na srekjna zavrsnica.

@@sasodcfred Bi trebalo skoro da vi stigne, jas mojot opel vo 2008 go cekav 3 ipol meseci, a mi kazaa okolu 3 meseci se ceka, kolku vi kazaa na vas koga pravevte naracka?

@@petar_d488 Naracano vo pocetok na fevr. so potpisan preddogovor deka treba da stigne vo tekot na maj. Se javivme da prasame do kade e rabotata, glatko ni prolongiraa uste eden mesec: ke potraelo do polovinata na juni.

@@sasodcfred Prasaj nekoj pravnik dali imas pravo da se zalis, iako ne veruvam. Pisi koga ke stigne ako ne ti e problem i spodeli impresii. Mene kaj c3 se mi se dopaga ama me plasi toa displejot da ne se rasipe ,skoro site komandi se na nego, najdov na internet imalo takvi slucai.

Great review, I like the wood on dashboard but not sure about the seating though, it would probably grow on me. Good price point but how about reliability?

I was gonna say I quite like the sound of that, but then I read the “great for a pensioner” comment 😳😂. Another awesome video. Genuinely id never consider a Citroen. Dunno why cos I did quite like that!

Well you should cos its way better to drive than these auto journos always say. I drove a new ford focus and its steering was crap.......not stable and strayed all over the place. Fords look dull as ditchwater and volkswagen polo being luxurious. Give me a break.

Citroën could have used the 8-speed automatic transmission like the new Corsa and 2008. Maybe in the next model?

Not true. Plus, the C3 has an automatic transmission, but it’s not 6 gears.

@@DaveDVideoMaker You dont seem to realise the 110 bhp engine comes with either an auto box or with a 6 speed manual. Chose either. Do some research. Manual is always better.

I’d choose the auto at all costs, but learning to drive in a manual gives you the choice of driving any car (at least in Britain).

If the gearbox is changing up too quickly you probably have the 'Sport' button pressed in

I believe it’s Platinum Grey with white roof and white colour pack. Interior is Techwood.

well i am 47 and love it, so just call me granny. I would add that the model we have is really classy looking and the engine is not noisy. The additional sport option is really nippy and this car pulls away and brakes like a dream. The seats are different but l like that. So this pensioner gives it the thumbs up ha ha.

Hi , l have this car and personally like the fact that the colours can be combined. I like something a bit different. Honestly having driven this on fast roads, l can tell you it is a fast responsive car, epspecially in sport mode. All the best to you, l just wanted to defend it a bit .

I like the style and what about the performance? The 1.2 Turbo is plenty of power for such a small car, it does great in all condition. Also it’s the only car in this class that doesn’t have a firm suspension. I hate those : THEY’RE NOT SPORTS CAR! I want comfort for my everyday drive. If I want a sport car I buy one.

Like a polo, fiesta or corsa are stylish? A dull golf? Dont tell me. A SEAT or Skoda does it for you? Get down to specsavers matey. I suppose the dull Audis and BMWs float your boat but they mostly look hideous and devoid of any balance or design............not to mention being much less reliable. Weird how peoples biases work. Bet you took your jab too didn't you. Good mainstream slave.

@@missfunk5 Yep even the 82 bhp goes down moroway at 85 miles an hour no problem. The 110bhp version with the 6 speed box is even faster. About 10 seconds 0 to 60 which is getting close to a 126bhp Honda Civic that has a 999cc turbo chatged engine. The PSA group puretech engines are good reliable engines that produce the beans too.

This car is very stylish. The others are plain and simply boring when it comes to style. Everything is classic and dull. It’s a decent ride too. Just bought an automatic version. No complaints yet
