Ford Ranger Raptor 2020 is a new Ford truck coming to Europe. America will not see it but we here will get it and it will be the first Raptor officially available in Europe. This is the 3rd car that somehow comes to EU from USA with an exception that this one is not going to the US in the first place. After a Mustang that arrived in Europe and before the new Explorer.
This car was designed by Ford Performance department of Ford Motor Company. You will see why.
Insane road presence of this car makes others look at the driver with jealousy. That's a bonus that you get while driving the Raptor which is claimed to be an engineering masterpiece. Carrying such a name - it should indeed be.
The Fox Pro suspension is quite unique. Enormous wheel travel and super smooth motion contribute to the Raptor being not only comfortable for a pickup truck, be being very comfortable and friendly on the road. No more leaf springs in the back - coil springs instead.
285/70 R17 tires = 33" wheels. Add 213 HP and 500 Nm of torque and it's ready to go. Especially with 28,3 cm of ground clearance that is pretty much the same as in the Ford F-150 Raptor. The wheels are made specifically for the Ford Ranger Raptor.
2510 kg of curb weight is also like F-150 Raptor. 2,3 mm thick skid plates protect the car's chassis. Smart side steps protect its sides and help you get into the car. It's over 2 meters wide!
Amazingly cool! And what an adventure it was in Morocco. Ford flew me there for the press launch along with German journalists.

Hi, I also ordered a Raptor last week. And can't wait until they get the registration and plates done to pick it up. By the way the comment you made regarding seat adjustment. The Asian and Australian Raptors are made in Thailand. And the European version in South Africa. There are more differences. Like the space behind the rear seat back is added to the tray. But there will probably be more which I will soon find out. Waiting time is now 9 months in Spain. Demand for pickup's in Europe is rising so also for the Ranger range. Ford South Africa has scaled up production to 2 shifts, but the bottleneck now seems to have moved to their part supply chain. So I feel very happy in buying and receiving 1 in 9 days. Don't ask me how. But I should receive it soon!

Great video thanks, not sure who told you them tyres are special, but down here we can buy BFG AT T/A K02 285/70/17 off the shelf, they are good tyres and can take the punishment of off road Namibia.

That is what I've been told by Ford. If we could check when the tyres are available from, we could find out if they were designed for the Raptor and then launched on the market or they were there before.

Barry, the tyres factory fitted to the Raptor are a slightly different compound specific to the car. F in the part number also. Quite common

are your rollbars and cover behind the same as the wildtrack?

I do not know as I did not tr to compare these. The rollbars sure look very much the same as the ones on a Wildtrak. The cover in my opinion may be very much similar, if not the same again. If you're thinking if the ones from one version would fit to the other version, then I suggest asking any dealership for the parts numbers. This way if the part number is the same on both cars, you'll know that these are the exact same items on them. If not, then they are different and would not fit to both. I hope that this helps.

Hello, since i ordered a Ranger Raptor myself but will have to wait until August to get it delivered, i got one qustion: is this really true that this car got no Start Stopp Automatic? This would be amazing news, but i just cant believe it. tx.

Lucky you! You'll be blown away. As for the Auto Start-Stop - that's right, there's no Start-Stop on the EU market at least. I've been driving and educating myself about the cars in European specification. This is because Start-Stop is useless and even could be a pain in the a** while off-roading. Ford went all in and didn't even care about eco-terrorists while designing this car. I'm really amazed and hope that you'll love the new Ranger Raptor.

@@VToldsMotoShow Hi, i got my Raptor one week ago and i can tell you, this is the most amazing car i have ever been driving!!! It appears to be even bigger than expexted. Colourwise we made the perfectly right choice. Black is the colour to go. I saw one in grey and one in blue. Both look very good but in black the Raptor looks even more menacing. We are very happy! And, since this pickup is registered as a truck and not a car, there is indeed no Start-Stop Automatic!! Best wishes!

In europe only rear camera unfortunately, in the USA it has 360 degrees camera view.

The Ranger Raptor in EU specification has both the rear view camera and rear parking sensors. Doesn’t have anything in the front except the hard bumper.

I beg to disagree. It probably won't pass usa standard when it comes to its engine. I got a raptor here in the philippines and I regret buying it. It's only 20 months old with 22,500 kms on it and already having problems with its fuel injectors. They replace #4 fuel injector. Now I am afraid to go on a long drive coz the remaining 3 injectors might fail on the way. NOT WORTH BUYING A RAPTOR. ENGINE IS TOO SMALL FOR THE BODY. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY SKIP FROM BUYING FORD RANGER RAPTOR. ALSO AFTER SALES SERVICE HERE IN THE PHILIPPINES SUCKS! YOU NEED TO SERIOUSLY THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING THE RAPTOR BECAUSE IN THE END YOU MIGHT REGRET IT. THAT'S JUST ME

There is something with this cars - my raptor is not the same after 40 k km , engine make metalic noises, dieselpomp is wiseling SYNC always was streng but the worst lm affraid of is front fox susspension is very week and mijn raptor isnt car anymore- this is boot. Rear suspension klick sometimes . For the rest is only ford litle too expensiv JOKE.

Duh not coming to Because F150 Raptors are avg 72k-84k bigger $$ so typical they build or sell what THEY want NOT what WE want. Like GT500 315 cid Hellcat and ZL1 376 cid that's why ZL1 still kicks GT500 ass. Come on Ford build a 6.2 liter supercharger gt500

Cannot say much good about Ford anymore too. Especially after being given a Mondeo 1,5 dieseil with 120 HP which would do 0-100 km/h in 12 seconds. The slowest car on the road. A tear generator and shame creator. Sorry to hear that your car is having issues. One may lease a Ford but I wouldn't be buying these really.
