This video was actually published last week but unfortunately KZfaq demonetized the video and age-restricted it to 18+ and stopped recommending it to viewers thus had to take it down within 20 hours of original release. Age restricted means it won't be embeddable in other social media and no one can watch without logging in, and even then they will have to click two buttons saying they are ok watching such content. Then over the past week, I tried reuploading by censoring and removing various parts of the video in the Private mode several times. Every time it was getting age-restricted even after appealing for manual human review until this version you are seeing here. All the footage used in the original video were from reputed TV news broadcasted on national television and is available in youtube itself without any restrictions so it is weird that our video was flagged as such. And none of the scenes in that video had anything requiring such restrictions. Some of our users who had watched the original version would know. And, youtube provided zero information on why it was restricted even after asking several times through various methods. They simply mail "age-restricted" and thats all. No reason provided. My loss here is as follows - 1. I lost the peak period of Christmas to New-year, which was the right time to launch this video, thus this video will no longer become popular. And many other channels like vox made similar videos and became super viral, so those viewers won't watch same type fo video again. 2. The original video was watched by about 3800 of my most active subscribers before it was taken down within 20 hours of launch. This means, this audience won't watch it again, and thus watch-time and click-through rate of this video will be very low thus killing any chance of youtube recommending it to others. [Edit - As expected this has 3 mins average watch time while original had 7 minutes. Also, 4% CTR vs 7% on original] 3. It was posted in a lot of social media, and I had send link to some people. I can't do that again without appearing as spammy. 4. I wasted over a month of effort making this video only to be demonetized and restricted. I couldn't show the video the way I intended it to be shown. Well, let's move on considering this as the 51st disaster of 2020.

You probably don't want to hear this, but I can name a few reasons why this video shouldn't be circulated. It doesn't impart anything hopeful. There is no joyful message to this documentary. KZfaq does not want to depress their audience this new year. Your video is frighteningly accurate and well researched, it can fill anyone with that existential dread that we are trying to escape from 2020. Your video does a better job than ANY high budget 2020 recap this year. But by the same token, it perpetuates hysteria, which KZfaq does not like. KZfaq refuses KZfaqrs the ability to cause panic unless it's "official" information. The algorthim foils small KZfaqrs who aren't certified, ESPECIALLY for videos of this nature. Call it censorship, call it a secret agenda, whatever. A video like this is dangerous, and will be frowned upon by the algorithm.
