Why is there a burned out box truck on the course? Most likely a theft scenario. Thieves offloaded the truck's contents to another awaiting vehicle and torched the truck.

My sister had a Murano Platinum AWD and I will say Nissan/Infinitis intelligent AWD is really a good system. Its clearly not made for hard-core offloading but they dont claim for it to be. She pulled off in a ditch one day not thinking it rained for the past week and it just sank down. When she went to leave she just put it in gear and it appropriated the power very quickly and she drove right out.

Id buy a Murano plat before this. Very high risk engine design and 4 cylinder vs legendary Nissan v6 and a super comfy ride in the Murano. Also its a sleeper, dont attract attention with a luxury badge.

*Infiniti have some of the best looking cars exteriorly. So beautiful and artistic flow. I just don’t understand why they would put a CVT in one. Interior is beautiful on this model. Just need some update on the tech/ infotainment. I’m really looking forward to the future of Infiniti. I know they’re not doing great right now but I still have hope. Anyway, great review Ryan !*

Probably putting in CVTs because of strict emissions regulations and the regulations are just going to get worse.

Ryan- I am confident that box truck was driven by someone who was doing either: A - an HR-V off-road comparison test (the Honda obviously bested it! Unless it’s stuck up at the river) B- thought they could get more stuck that that new Defender 110 But seriously - so happy to have found your channel & subscribed! Thanks for the review. This second gen QX50 is completely different from the 1st gen, which was based on the RWD G37 platform. It had the 3.7L V6 and a gear box with real gears. It would be interesting to see the contrast between this, more mainstream focused CUV and the previous more driver oriented vehicle.

@@ForgotToMentionThat first month I had a noise in the panoramic sunroof on smooth roads and took it to the dealer and honestly never knew what was the problem but got fixed, then my seat heat and cool stopped working and dealer said its the seat blower problem and ordered the since june but still not here yet, while waiting for that part a noise came from the fuel tank pump and dealer ordered it but you know(COVID). the real reason made me get rid of the car is the noises coming from different interior parts that annoyed me.

Infinity has definitely done a good job on the styling and the interior, however the CVT and the variable compression engine are questionable choices. CVT's almost always seem to suck any driving pleasure out of a vehicle and the variable compression engine while novel, is a potential reliability issue. As for the van, it was more than likely stolen. Probably taken from some facility with something of value in it (cigarettes, alcohol, electronics?) unloaded and then burned to clear off any prints.

In answer to your question: the box truck was used by US Green Berets in a parachuting exercise. The truck was filled with pyrotechnic apparatus and the landing rangers ignited it from cover using a small rocket launcher. They were preparing for a special mission which has completed successfully.

Trust me as I own a 2019 Infiniti QX50. The worst investment of my life, well one of them. The engine is a NIGHTMARE. My car is in the shop every other month it feels like.

@@EpicLemonMusic the RDX is a compact luxury suv. It competes with the QX50, Lexus nx, Audi Q5, BMW X3. The qx60 competes with the Acura MDX, however, there are some people who cross shop the Lexus RX with the Acura RDX.

@@RomaneMaticaliseGordon Look at the interior size and engine size of the RDX, it definitely competes with the RX and not the NX, the MDX competes with the RXL. Ill give you the QX 60 is bigger but they are all very close.

@@EpicLemonMusic the RX is actually not a direct competitor as the RX is a size up from the RDX, however, as I stated, there are people who cross shop them. The RDX is a Lexus NX competitor. Google it, or even search for it on youtube

Man, the engine sounds aside. It is a very good vehicle. Lot of punch for a vehicle in its class. I have the 2020 lower trim model, and it's a very good car. Get past the engine sounds, then you have got a dam good car in your hand.

Sorry to be a spoiler but it’s actually from a unreleased review you had done for the local box truck community. Based on your YT data it showed nearly 95% of your viewers are either in the local moving business or planning on entering in the next 6 months. However because the test clearly failed the manufacture wouldn’t let you air the footage at the risk of the negative publicity they would get. 😐

After almost 3 years I still love my QX50 although a bit dismayed they haven’t developed an Apple Car Play retrofit. And I agree with his review 100 percent. The CVT drains the driving experience a ton. My lady friend has a Caddy XT4 and it’s regular multi speed tranny is much better.

The truck was probably stolen and burned. Or, it's made to look like it was stolen for insurance. Either way, you should report it to the police. It would have been helpful if you tried to get the VIN off the truck.

Luxury and CVT never go together. Cant wait for the Genesis GV70 which will be a proper rwd based platform and a conventiona automatic transmission. Infiniti needs to go away. This is more a Nissan product anyways. There CVTs ruin all the love dial there products could have

It’s a boy-meets-girl story. Determined UPS guy delivering a package (well, more than one) to a camp site. Female in a Crosstrek accepts package and a little more. Blazing hot sex in the back of the truck and before you know it the box truck catches fire. He decides to run away from a loveless arranged marriage and takes off in the Crosstrek with the hottie. They drive off as smoke billows in the background.

The guy do not know what he is doing and he should read the specs and engineering of the QX50 and how's the drive mode selectors work. He is talking talking, has no clue what variable compression engine is, if the QX50 is intelligent AWD or not. 👎👎👎 Should find another job .

I was just watching Hyundai Kona and Kia Seltos videos... 0-60 in 6.78 seconds with this 2.0 VCT with 290HP is awful in comparison with the time you made with the Hyundai and the Kia which are served with a much smaller engine for yes, smaller SUV but not that much. This VCT engine, combined with the CVT transmission are just not made for this kind of pricy SUV. Nissan/Infiniti are really behind the competition in everything... Multimedia with 3 backdated screens, are they kidding.
