I can spent $700 on the grille and $2000 on the headlight of 2020 model and put it on my 2015 to 2019 model. I think they will fit perfectly

It's acceptable. I mean it's not like you live in that car. My house has better infotainment with high speed internet. Cars are meant to be drive not to look at the infotainment screen. That's why you get high crash rate nowadays cause of that. And also new comers don't know how to parallel park without that silly camera when I've done it for 16 years.

The LEXUS GX-460 is in a class of its own. The last of the true body on frame SUV’s. It’s really a Rebadged Toyota Landcruiser 150 Prada that is very popular in Asia, Australia, and Europe. It’s comes standard with a full time 4-wheel drive too. Don’t try and compare it to the other LEXUS unibody SUV’s. We have a 2014 luxury model, it’s super reliable, holds its value, and is fun to drive. If you need a bigger model then go with the LX-570. You can’t loose with either of these models.

Still love our 2015. Would take a LX though. Did they remove the power folding mirrors on the 20? That’s a must for such a tall, and big suv! At least for our garage.

@@ethanuzamere1538. I did the same thing too to my 2018 lexus gx460 2018. I just turned into 2020 front grill and the emblem. I just don't like the 2020 lights which I didnt change.

Everyone wants the latest tech. That’s fine if you lease, if you buy, you will wish you didn’t get all the fancy tech when it someday needs to be fixed or replaced. Some of these new tech gadgets cost thousands just in parts not including the labor. Careful what you wish for. KISS principle activate.

Lexus and Toyota are always slow to change, but the advantage to just refreshing is reliability, they work out all the issues and parts are abundant and cheap. I drive the 2017 Explorer right now... 3 years old and already noticing transmission issues. In fact, I would probably buy the last model year of the car before I bought the complete redesign model. I'm trying to decide on the 19 or 20... and if all that has changed is the steering wheel (pretty much), I'll go with the 19 and save $10K.

@@Bada_Boom78 100%, couldn't agree with you more. My dad bought a V6 SR5 4-Runner in 2003. In 2009 he gave it to me a college car, then in 2012, he bought it back from me and still drives it to this day, haha. Toyota replaced the cracked dash for free on a 15-year-old vehicle. The only problem it has is cosmetic because the paint has faded. I know Toyota gets a lot of flack on paint quality, but that is a very easy fix. He will never get rid of it and has told me he would leave it to me in his Will, hahaha. I just wish it was the V8 4x4. If it was I would pay him above market for it now.

I like the 2019 grill better, but I think the 20 looks better from the side without that plastic side molding. I just wish the front bumper wasn't so bulbous.

The RX has their newest infotainment system. The GX has one of the oldest versions of Lexus infotainment.

I kind of suspected the phrase “remains unchanged” would be used a couple of times. Other than the grill and red nuluxe, still looks like my 2011. Personally, l love the GX but could not live with the grill on either of these vehicles.

i went the local lexus shop to test 2020 GX, basically there is not any different beside grill , guess what, the 2020 front grill is made by cheap plastic, when u knock by your hand, you fear to break it. another thing buyers have to consider is the price, if you buy 2017 used car 20 miles drive car, you spent 36K , 2017 looks the same to 2019, GX2020 you have to spend 54 without tax. so ,,, new grill or old grill ???? 20 K save ??

The new LX is actually about $5K cheaper than the new LandCruiser. I just can't stomach $80K+ on a vehicle that hasn't been redesigned since 2008. If Toyota brought over the high output, higher gas mileage turbo diesel. I would buy that no questions.

I personally think the 2019 GX has a nicer wheel. It's an SUV. It shouldn't have a wheel that looks like it belongs in a sedan or a crossover.

The 2019 is better looking front grill! The 2020 is front grill bigger and make the entire look uglier!

This generation of the GX came out in 2009, so they are going on 11 years without much change. Most manufacturers go 5-7 years before a redesign, Toyota and Lexus go a decade +, hahaha
