Hey Guys, I'm getting a lot of Questions about the bags and people are questioning the price etc. Just to paint a clearer picture, THAT INCLUDES EVERYTHING. Let me break it down a bit. The bags cannot be ordered as a whole unit from H-D. You have to individually order every latch, nut bolt, inner, outer, etc etc. The parts are roughly $2,000. Then to mount the bags you have to change the struts and add docking hardware to mount them to. Then we had them custom painted. Notice the glossy black paint on the outer shell (Done by a world class painter). They come with a dull ABS outside otherwise. That's a few hundred dollars. Then we need to assemble all the parts when they come in and install the bags. This costs labor. Then you have to pay the government sales tax. The way we do business here to be be very transparent and upfront about costs etc. I could just tell someone the bags cost $1,900 bucks then slap them with a bunch of hidden costs as the job progresses. We choose just to be very upfront about every cost involved to get that bag in it's final state installed rolling down the road on your bike. Hopefully this helps. Nothing we do is marked up over suggested retail.

As a 2019 Sport Glide owner, I tend to agree. The only real gripes with the bike were the exhaust (cobra 909 slip on solved that), the passenger pillion for my wife (Sundowner changed that), and finally the fairing. I am still looking into a replacement. The 107 is plenty power for me. I ride pretty casually, so the front suspension (although inverted, not the same) and longer rake do me just fine. I think she did an awesome job with the build!

Very good review. I have both a 2020 FLHTP and a Low Rider S and you are exactly right. The touring bikes are certainly smoother and isolate the rider better. The S transmits more of a mechanical feel to the rider. I do differ with you where at 16: 34 you say the touring bikes require more strength. Actually they require more technique as seen here kzfaq.info/get/bejne/btGVbJl8m-CuaWg.html. That's my 125 lb wife on her 900 lb Ultra using zero strength but, just 3 techniques.

I am the proud owner of two 'hot-rod' Harleys and when the subject of cost comes along in conversation, there are two things I think of, the first is the old ' if you have to ask the price Sir then you can't afford it' line and the second is ' the reason Harleys are so expensive is so that everyone can't have one'. Both those comments infuriate lots of (non-Harley owning) people and I admit I do love to use them in conversation, but I wonder just why it is that some people have the audacity to decide how others should spend their cash ???? I hasten to add that I am by no means a wealthy person - I drive a van for a living and live in 'social housing', so please don't beat on me about 'hard-earned green' as I know all about that !

great job on the build Nancy. very cool. I agree with you matt if you ride a lot on open highway than touring but if you don't softail is the way to go. much lighter and will be quicker just due to weight. the touring bikes weigh so much more - it is like you have a permanent passenger on all the time. great review on this bike also.

I just have to say that whenever I watch one of your reviews of the different models, I really like your honesty about those models. Seems like with this build the owner knew just what she wanted. I wonder though the cost of this build vs. a Sport glide with a 114 bump and the additions like footboards, bars, taller windscreen, seat, extra lights, engine guard, if this model would cost less?

I have always hated the stock front turn signals on these bikes. It looked like Harley built the bike and forgot to add turn signals and then said "Just clip some on the handlebars." These on this bike are what Harley should be doing stock. Also they should put cruise control on all these Softails since they have throttle by wire. Love the exhaust on this bike too. Sounds and looks awesome.

Very nice build. I was surprised at how comfortable those bars are. Initially I thought they were too high compared to lower Z bars. Pipe sounds great without being too loud. I'd stick with mid foot controls. Seat is good though I'd opt for a rack, top box versus panniers. I have a 56 litre Givi top box which is lockable.
