Yeah, it would be interesting to see how much the Y-series Intel CPUs in the Air fall behind the U-series in the Pro.

Calle Söderberg This is not Y series though. This is a tuned up version of “U” version cpu of Icelake， 1060G7. The 10th gen Ｙ series can't support the LPDDR4X memory in the new Macbook Air. And they don't have Iris plus graphics，only inferior old UHD graphics. To smash all these things into a Ｙ series is probably more expensive than just choose the default package.

But my own PC is a gaming desktop with a RTX 2070 Super xc and a 240hz Samsung Odyssey G7 monitor. And that is the actual awesome PC Io was referring to:)

I’m still rocking my 2013 11 inch MacBook Air. And I still love it. I wish the screen was better, but I’m surprised how well it’s still running after 7 years. It might give me 7 more years of life.

The MacBook Air 2020 comes with major upgrades compared to its predecessor. Love the addition of the magic keyboard along with the fingerprint sensor on it.

@mezun if u do minimal stuff like web browsing , online video lectures, use office then it's alright. But if u will do coding (android/ios development) or heavy editing then it will heat a lot.

That the Speakers are 25% louder as the 2019 is wrong they got compared with the older non Retina ones not with the 2018 and 2019 versions.
