I too tried a few Copperband. Even with mysis and brine (in which it ate), it still didn't manage to put on weight. What worked for me finally was chopped up table shrimp, clam and mussel flesh. I chop and then grind the flesh to the smallest bits. In the beginning I would broadcast feed the food into the tank, but later on I used a pipet to feed the tank. The Copperband started noticing the pipet being the 'source' of the food and started to eat from it. Since there were other fishes in the tank, I would feed the Copperband with the pipet until he was completely full (until he couldn't eat anymore). After 2-3 months, he was plump; something mysis failed to achieve. After he became plump, his appetite grew tremendously and he started eating my blastos. Now I can't keep blastos, other corals he doesn't care. Btw, your sump is amazing; this is how it should be! I too wished I had done it this way.

Mine took out an infestation off aptasia within 2 weeks, then went for all my worms in the sand and the ones that upset some off my zoas, he’s quickly become my favourite fish. For anyone struggling to feed it as mine did, I mixed live food with frozen, and then it got the idea. Absolute stunning fish.

Hi Mike, as always a very entertaining video, can you tell me how long you have full daylight on in your tank ? Reason for asking is that I keep getting algae on my glass as well as lots of little white hard spot of calcium on my glass, and power heads etc.

brill update buddy, just curious about your temp at 24.6? ive always run my sps tanks at 26 but recently dropped down to 25 to reduce evaporation and humidity in the house and was thinking 25 might be too low?? but seems to be working for you....
