A quick look at the new E-Active Body Control system in the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE. It is designed to get you out of sand or snow by bouncing the vehicle up and down.

The GLS bounces a lot more, it also helped that the radio was on a metal station.

@@MrBitemeidareya I have NEVER seen any car truck or van for that matter BOUNCE they ass out of a fucking snow bank or mud. This *feature* came from Hispanic low riders in the hood and it's being 'sold' as some new fangled gadget to pull in idiots. If that's what it's supposed to be used for...then why isn't on Toyotas & hyundai's? Yeah...thought so! FOHWDBSD!

Let's be honest, no one is offroading in this. It's just a fun little feature that mercedes had to label as something practical, when really, they all know we just wanna bounce.

You don’t need to be off-roading to use this. It’s practical; if you’re on a gravel road and you get stuck, you might not need a tow if you can get enough traction with the bounce. That’s just one example, there are several different real situations you don’t need to be off-road in to get stuck.

Plenty of people use their Mercedes off road. They’re all wheel drive vehicles with pretty good ground clearance. I’ve taken mine hunting off road dozens of times and had dead deer, elk, ducks, and muddy dogs in it. It’s not a Bugatti. The g wagon is still used today by governments and military because of its off road capabilities and all around versatility
